Picked up two dozen eggs this week. The chickens were beautiful and I thanked them for the eggs. The eggs are fantastic. So much better than store bought. We will continue buying our eggs from Silver Lake Farm.
(Having raised chickens ourselves), we know what real free range chickens look like and what kind of eggs they lay! Not one brand, organic or free range, in any supermarket, can come close to the fresh, bright orange yellow and tasty eggs of this family farm! These eggs are large, orange yellow, fresh and fantastically tasty! Chickens roam around happily, a very large natural growth area (that's what I call free range) with their buddy doggy friends and roosters! Believe me we ain't buying eggs anywhere else. The family also packages their own pork sausage (delicious) and if course chicken meat (have not tried it yet). Tip: call to place your order and make sure the owners are home.
Love that they know me by name. Very friendly and accommodating to last minute requests. Produce and eggs are awesome! Bummed I missed out on the honey this year...next time!

We were there for a farm party. Cliff answered alot of questions I had about chickens. Very clean and we'll taken care of animals. Wonderful place!
