We not only enjoyed the fantastic grass-fed beef from Shews, but we also spent a couple of nights in their rustic cabin. We found the cabin on Hipcamp and the description was exact! This is a rustic cabin with no electricity and an outhouse. There are several beds upstairs and a combined kitchen/dining/living area. There is even a small shower inside. The cabin has water from a cistern (NOT drinkable). There is a propane heater and even hot water for the sink and small shower. Notice I did not mention a toilet (not kidding about the outhouse). So be prepared. There is a very nice porch and yard with a fire ring. There is a small lake nearby where you can fish. We had a great time. We brought plenty of water and some fans to create a breeze. This place is not close to anything. The night sky was absolutely beautiful! So give it a try!

Went by in November to load up on some great beef to being back to N.C. it was delicious!! Oh and don't forget to pick up some pepper jelly you will love it!!
