Shaw Cattle

The people who own this company are amazing individuals who are not only understanding but they are on top of their work when it comes to keeping their cows and calfs herded together and when moving them from one pasture to another. My husband, unfortunately, when driving past their business, had to brake suddenly in his car to avoid hitting a cat in the road and ended up flipping his vehicle 4 times over the canal and into their pasture. I saw the entire thing from my car as he went around my vehicle to pass, and after the vehicle landed brightside up saw him stumble and the first thing he told me was not to call paramedics but rather to inform the owners of what happened, and to make sure no cows or calfs were injured or able to get out. He then asked about the cat, which luckily survived and ran up a tree nearby. He was lucky to even be alive, especially since the airbags never deployed. Suffered a concussion for two days without recollection of leaving the hospital, eating food we ordered, etc, and although he fractured the T1 in his spine and will also need shoulder surgery, he felt guilty for the wreck and only wanted to try and work for them to help repay any damages or apologize to the owners of the company. To our surprise, they had already themselves moved his vehicle to the back of their pasture, and luckily, no cows were in that pasture as they had just moved them a day or so before he crashed. Regardless, these individuals deserve recognition for their understanding, patience, and kindness during a time when I thought myself and our children were never going to see my husband or their dad again. Thank you so much for your kindness and understanding, and he still says is willing to do work for you should you ever need an extra hand around the place.
