Beautiful fresh produce and seasonal items. The peaches and tomatoes are excellent. Outstanding service from a human. Thank you Farmer Andrew. 🍑 🍅 🥦 🥧 …
These are hands down the most delicious fruit pies I’ve ever had. I’ve tried apple pies from all sorts of places, but theirs is by far the best, perfectly balanced, flaky, and full of flavor. What really sealed the deal for me, though, was when Farmer Andrew told me I could make a special request. My favorite is raspberry pie, and he baked one just for me and it was absolutely spectacular. I HIGHLY recommend stopping by for their pies. You won’t be disappointed!
Always love going to Schieferstein! They have an excellent selection of plants and vegetables. I love getting starts from here for my garden, and theirs are always the best. Additionally, they have wonderful local honey, freshly baked goods, and great produce to choose from. Definitely recommend giving this place a visit.
Cute, bountiful farmers market. Honestly the best part was the pumpkin and mum areas! Did grab some plums and a few veggies. The gentleman working there was kind and offered suggestions on different vegetables and such I had not had. Will be back, even if only for the gorgeous Mums!
I was pleased with the customer service that was provided to me my first time there. The man behind the counter was very helpful and explained more than enough about the items that I had questions on. I loved that they’re honey was local honey and you must try the apple cider they sell. Their products are fresh which is excellent on my book. I was even greeted by their pet chicken. The man that worked behind the counter even gave me some corn for free to find the chicken. The butter toffee pecans are so yummy definitely try them out you won’t regret it.
Delicious Fresh fruits and vegetables, good variety. Great customer service and nice guy! Promotes other local businesses too NJ tomatoes are so good!
We LOVE Schieferstein!!! They always have great produce, delicious baked goods, and amazing customer service! Their pumpkin selection is always awesome! They also have a cute boutique in the back!! Oh and Andrew is the melon master!! Honey dew, red watermelon, orange watermelon AND yellow watermelons! Super cool and so delicious!!!!!!
Ordered a peach pie with a crumble top. It exceeded my expectations. Wow is all i can say. Will repeat every holiday
I called to inquire about purchasing hay for a fundraiser benefiting the Florina Cancer Center. I was quoted $18 per bale, which is unusually high as hay typically ranges from $7–$10 per bale. I asked if there was any bulk pricing available and mentioned that this was for a charity event where all proceeds go to cancer research and the venue would not profit from the fundraiser. The response I received was shocking, the representative said, “Not at all, I don’t care for cancer fundraisers.” This was extremely unprofessional and disheartening. Safe to say, I will not be giving this business any future orders or recommendations
I am always impressed by their selection and prices!!!
Parking at the front of the lot. They have small carts for carrying flats. Prices are missing on many of the plants.
Great selection and friendly, knowledgeable staff. It's always a great experience coming here.
Amazing customer service here. The line around the holidays proves how great everything from here is. The pies are astronomically god. For thanksgiving they accommodated me getting a fresh pumpkin pie. The whole family enjoyed it and I …
Got a christmas tree there today, had a good selection of trees and the people working there were great. Cute snow village set up inside and they have some baked goods and produce as well.
I have been coming here for years for tomatoes in the summer. I buy pounds of them each week. They always have a good selection of heirloom and field tomatoes, and I enjoy talking to the owner and walking around the store. Highly recommend.
I have been patronizing Andrew for many many years. He already has Jersey tomato’s- not hothouse! He will always give you a slice of what you are looking to buy and will always recommend what is in season or what is best currently at his …
