Rustic Oaks Ranch

Mike is the nicest location owner I’ve ever met! The Ranch is absolutely stunning—expansive, well-kept, and filled with beautiful natural backdrops that look amazing on camera. Mike went above and beyond to make sure our shoot went smoothly, from accommodating our schedule to providing helpful suggestions and making everyone on our team feel welcome. The property is versatile, with open fields, rustic structures, and scenic views that can fit so many different story needs. It truly exceeded our expectations in every way. I would recommend this ranch to any production—big or small—without hesitation!

We had an incredible experience filming at this ranch! The property is beautiful, spacious, and versatile — perfect for a production setting. The owner was extremely accommodating and organized, from coordinating crew arrivals to helping us with parking and safety protocols. They really went the extra mile to make sure our cast and crew felt welcomed and taken care of. Communication was clear and prompt, and the whole process ran smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommend this location not just for its stunning scenery, but also for the professionalism and support of the team who runs it. We would love to come back for future shoots!

1st time filming at Rustic Oaks and it was GREAT!!! Mike and his son Blake were EXTREMELY helpful and helped us out in any way they could. We were able to start rolling immediately which helped keep us on schedule. Rustic Oaks is a great filming location as it gives filmmakers a level of control you wouldn't have filming on state land. Mike and Blake helped us create a fake pond showing how much care and dedication they have for small filmmakers like us. Would recommend filming here again!

I cannot say enough good things about our shoot at Rustic Oaks Ranch!! Mike and his son Blake are the sweetest people ever and were extraordinarily helpful and available throughout the entire shoot, without ever getting in the way. You can tell that they have a love for film and tv production and are knowledgeable and able to take care of the location concerns like genies and lights. They even offered to dig a hole for us that we needed to have for a set piece! They also encourage night time filming which we found to be rare! They worked within our budget and never put business before helping us out if they could. I genuinely enjoyed their company and felt very taken care of. I one hundred percent would recommend this location for your film or tv shoot or anything you’d need it for, really. And I will for sure be back. I only wish all locations were this amazing. THANK YOU SO MUCH! We had a blast.

Really great location for the shoot I was on. It also wasn’t too far of a drive to get the forest vibes. Mike, our locations manager was so wonderful to work with. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I felt totally safe. 10/10

Working with Mike was a DREAM. As an independent producer, it meant the world to not only have a location that was perfect fo camera but the location support as well. From our 1st scout, there was clear communication and willingness to work with us. I look forward to finding the next script to make here because I would return in a heart beat

This place is fantastic! The owner Mike is an incredible person to work with. He was able to provide everything we needed (generators, tents, etc) for filming and was very communicative. We loved shooting here!

Recently shot a short film here, I must say the whole location is very much filmmaking-friendly, you can get all you need for your outdoors shoot. The host, Mike is also very helpful and stays nearby in case something is needed throughout the whole shooting time. Highly recommended!

Once you film at Rustic Oaks, you'll never want to film at another ranch again. Mike is incredibly helpful, supportive, friendly, accessible and generous. From helping us build a trick shot to maintaining a safe and happy workplace, our small indie production got the red carpet treatment. Bathrooms are clean, freeway access is unbeatable, the natural scenery is stunning -- such a wide variety of landscapes to choose from! Permitting with the City of Santa Clarita is MUCH easier than in Los Angeles, and still within TMZ. Blake, the site rep for our shoot, even pitched in to help our production team!! Can't recommend this place enough.

This was my first time filming here and Mike is a great person very understandable of every situation and will be happy to work with you if you have any concerns. But if you're looking for a versatile and very beautiful location for your film, Rustic Oaks Ranch is an absolute gem. It has a stunning natural setting, the ranch offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and expansive, beautiful landscapes. Whether you’re shooting outdoor scenes with sweeping views or a cabin that has well-appointed interior this place has it all.
