I bought 1/4 of a cow and not only were the owners super responsive but they made sure to treat me as though I was their number 1 customer. They are so accommodating and answered all of my questions promptly. Now for the meat review. So TENDER and delicious. I don't know why I ever bought from the store. If you're looking for a fresh meal and want to buy from people that actually care then look no further. I recommend this to my friends and family and the entire world!
We had a fantastic experience ordering half a hog from Rolek Farm! It was our first time ordering pork locally and they were great about explaining the process and making sure we were able to get our cut requests to the meat locker. Exceptional customer service, including delivery of our meat to our home! To top it all off, the pork has been delicious and we've enjoyed it for many months! We would certainly continue to order if it weren't for an out of state move, highly recommend!
First I ordered a half hog, and this week I received a quarter cow. The ribeye steak was mouth watering and tender beyond belief. I've been to their farm, and the animals roam happily through open green pasture and wooded hills. I feel the difference in how they are cared for, is why the meat is so tender and juicy. I had never ordered part of an hog/cow before. Rolek Farms walked me through the different cuts available at the locker, making the entire process easy from initial order to delivery.
Great experience with purchasing a hog from Rolek Farms. They were even kind enough to pickup the meat from the locker and deliver it to my home at Waukee after processing. I am a big brat connoisseur so I have become pretty picky with what kinds I like. I was blown away with how good the bacon cheddar brats were. I’d highly recommend them.
