The woman who owns his company refused to let me in my service dog on their property, which was illegal. She was rude and she was mean. my family has supported this business for the last couple of years and I was appalled at the Behavior of this absolutely disgusting woman! A business owner!!
Unacceptable Treatment and Discrimination at Robin Farms in Church Point, Louisiana I am writing to formally express my profound disappointment and outrage regarding the disrespectful and discriminatory treatment my elderly mother and I experienced at Robin Farms. What was supposed to be a pleasant outing turned into an appalling display of hostility and ableism from the owner. My mother, who relies on a mobility scooter due to difficulty standing for extended periods, accompanied me to your farm. Upon arrival, I politely asked if she could remain seated in her scooter while I picked blackberries—a reasonable request given her disability. Instead of accommodating her needs, the owner responded by yelling at me, claiming this was a "working farm" and that they were "not babysitters." His tone was immediately aggressive and unwelcoming. Later, when I inadvertently walked toward an unmarked area (with no "Employees Only" or "Restricted Access" signage), he again rudely reprimanded me. If customer safety and boundaries are a concern, proper signage or barriers should be in place—not hostility. His condescending attitude was completely uncalled for, especially after we had traveled nearly an hour and paid for the experience. The most egregious part came when I confronted him upon leaving. I informed him that his behavior was discriminatory toward disabled individuals, to which he callously replied that I "should never have brought someone like [my] mom" to the farm. This is blatant ableism. My mother deserves to enjoy outings just like anyone else, and no business has the right to treat her as an inconvenience. Rather than offering an apology or attempting to de-escalate, the owner chose to argue with me in front of other customers, further demonstrating his lack of professionalism and basic human decency. I made sure he understood how unacceptable his behavior was, but the damage was done. I will NEVER, EVER, return to Robin Farms, and I strongly urge others to reconsider supporting a business that treats customers—especially those with disabilities—with such contempt. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, and I hope this feedback prompts reflection (and change) on how you accommodate all patrons. Disgusted and disappointed,
10/10 a family friendly place to go! We brought our toddler and she had the best time. Cannot wait to go back and support this farm!
Me and my wife enjoyed our trip here from Lafayette and left with more than enough. Very large size bell peppers and cucumbers a plenty
We've been a few times over the last few months and absolutely love it. Produce is outstanding quality.
Went to buy medium-large melons at whole sale price get there he only wants to sell small melons after I talked to him about buying medium-large melons that was in picture he sent he says “ You better start walking to your truck before you don’t make it to your truck” What a way to run a business!
Robin Farms is such a lovely place! A taste of rural farm life for those who live in the city. Strawberry picking was so fun and easy to do! The workers are so friendly and helpful, and the play set for smaller children was shaded and fun for them to play on.
This was our 3rd year at the Robin's Farm Pumpkin Patch it, We love going. We have a Great time each year.
Awesome farm with great produce. Support your local farms.
Their produce is top quality and fresh. In fact, the field is right next to their farm stand. They were cutting some cabbage heads and restocking the stand as we were buying. And you can't beat their prices. Take a drive out there. You'll be glad you did.
We were looking for fresh vegetables and they didn't disappoint. The owners are very friendly and nice.
Very friendly and great produce!
Best to follow on Facebook to know what's available, but all their produce is really good & always fresh.

Always the best prices and you can tell their heart is poured into the quality of their produce and your experience there. 100% worth the drive.
