Riverview Farms

Our weekly boxes from Riverview have been everything we’d hoped they’d be AND so much more than we could have expected. The whole point of joining a CSA is to live in rhythm with the farm: we eat what the land is producing, as it’s producing it. Sometimes this means lots of something, sometimes it means just a little of another thing. No matter what we receive, it is a bounty. This means huge heads of lettuces in the spring filling up our fridge, gorgeous cabbages going into the fermentation crock, amaze-balls melons on a weekly basis, woweewow!!!, cool cucumbers to snack on all summer long, a whole slew of different pepper varieties, and tender squashes perfect for grilling. Bring on ALL the tomatoes! Garlic bulbs forever! Okra in everything! Eggplant for curries! Potatoes a million ways! And we’re just barely more than halfway through the growing season. Bring it on, autumn harvest! Every box is full of high quality produce resulting from a lot of hard work and always at the whims of Nature: think about that if you’re ever tempted to complain about getting too many cucumbers or not enough carrots! Riverview does a superb job of growing all the things to taste like they’re supposed to and doing it all organically: kudos to y’all for your mad skills with soil, seeds, and water. We’ve been eating so healthy since spring that we can barely stand ourselves anymore. Highly recommended.

I am a 20-year subscriber. Always delighted with the quality and thoughtfulness of the selection I've received. Admittedly, it's a crap shoot in terms of what you're going to receive in a given week. But in general terms, you have a good idea as the season progresses what's in this week's box. And still, there are happy surprises. Wes and Charlotte are also purveyors of some extraordinary beef, pork artisanal bacon, sausage, grains and flours. If you have dined out in Atlanta at all in the last couple of decades, you probably have already appreciated their quality. If not, do yourself and your family a favor and give them a go at home.

Excellent products! I love their meats. They even have apples and other products. I can always count on this farm to delight me when I shop at Morningside Market.

I have been in this CSA for 1 years and my mom has been doing it for 15 years. It is AMAZING! The produce is beautiful, delicious, and inspiring. You get to eat with the seasons and experience the beauty and abundance of local food! The eggs and meat are the highest quality. And all for a lower price than the grocery store for things that are so so so much better. They are easy to work with and share wonderful recipes and information. Thanks to Riverview farms my 4 and 6-year-old are excited about vegetables and eat all sorts of things they used to turn their nose up at including radishes, bell peppers, and greens. I went into mourning when the box ended for the winter, and I can't wait for it to start again this spring!

Absolutely love Riverview. Been getting weekly bins during the in season for at least the last 4 years. Also get weekly eggs from them now too. Everything tastes amazing, fantastic variety, love all the extras too like the best grits ever and their pork sausage is also the best you have ever had. We like to randomly stop by the farm when we're in the area too... they are always so kind and welcoming. Can not say enough good things about our Riverview CSA.

Love this CSA. I've been a member since their first season of offering. I love having local organic fruits and vegetables brought to a local drop off point that I know hasn't been sitting around and is fresh. I also order a monthly share of meat from Riverview Farms. I can't recommend them enough.

We have participated in their CSA program for a couple years now, and it's great. Love the concept of neighborhood drop off points which makes pickups easy for us to manage. The variety, quality, and quantity of produce is amazing and I love all their support for recipes and suggestions for produce new to us.

Phenomenal quality produce! I was endlessly impressed with the variety and quality of veggies I got to enjoy in each box from the CSA last year. It’s the healthiest I’ve eaten in years. I can’t wait for the new year of CSA deliveries to start!!

I go every Saturday to the market where they are - Wes is always kind and informative. Love their meat and fresh eggs!

Locally grown, delicious pork and beef produced by a Georgia family. It doesn't get better than this! We also love their grits, cornmeal, popcorn and other produce and have been regular customers for many years.Highly recommended. - The Petsch family
