Words cannot describe my amazing stay at Reeves Home Place Farm. Robin, Dena and her son know how to make you feel welcome and like you are a part of the family. It was easy to get there (No special vehicle needed) and my GPS recognized me typing in Reeves Home Place Farm instead of the address. The breakfast was to die for with some amazing home made biscuits, gravy, sausage, blackberry hot jam, bacon, and eggs. I don't eat pork and I loved the sausage produced from their animals! There's nothing ultra fancy about the accommodations but the service and location make it an amazing stay. You do have to share the bathroom with the other 3 rooms but it very large and clean. The home is so full of history being built before the civil war and having 7 generations of family live on the property. I have attached a picture of the view from my room, the front of the home and their second host Blue Healer dog, Sadie. If you have time I recommend getting a tour of their private mountain. It's got a complete view of Asheville in the distance and some Pisgah National Forest Mountains. Mountains at a 360' view and you can camp here by the way! I've attached a picture that doesn't do the place justice. Our original plan was to take our engagement pictures at Max Patch Loop but after seeing Robin's private mountain we decided to take our pictures there. We couldn't be more happy or grateful to Robin. Next time I go I definitely plan to use their massage and yoga lesson capabilities. Stay here you'll love it!

Back in 1978, we'd visit Hazel Reeves Arrington. She was a sister to Roscoe Reeves and Mary Reeves. Aunt Mary's would give fresh milk to Grandma and Grandaddy Arrinton, and they'd then give it to us. My husband, Clay, remembered spending summers on the farm with Aunt Mary and Uncle Ross. I remember visiting them, too, once Clay and I married. Clay's father, Tom Arrington, was 1st cousins with Berder Reeves.

Lovely setting for a get away or special event. The restoration of the family farmhouse is beautiful.
