This small family farm offers a range of pasture-raised meats, primarily focused on chicken and heritage pork. Their dedication to promoting biodiversity and sustainable farming practices ensures high-quality, clean proteins for their customers.
Redemption Springs utilizes regenerative farming techniques and permaculture practices, such as multi-species grazing and rotational grazing, to maintain soil health and promote diverse ecosystems. Their animals are pasture-raised and free from GMOs, soy, antibiotics, hormones, and vaccines, highlighting their commitment to ethical and sustainable farming.
The farm takes pride in rearing rare heritage breeds such as Red Wattle, Mulefoot, and Large Black pigs. These breeds are fed on all-natural hog feed sourced from Amish farms in Lancaster County, ensuring a wholesome diet without synthetic additives. These heritage breeds contribute to the farm's biodiversity efforts, as they are known for their hardiness and unique flavors.
Redemption Springs offers a selection of bulk chicken and pork products. Their pastured chicken is available as whole or parted, and the pigs are offered either whole or half, charged by hanging weight. Each product is freshly processed, vacuum-sealed, and delivered with attention to detail.
Redemption Springs provides a variety of chicken cuts and specialty sausages, including fresh chicken thighs, breasts, and chicken livers. Sausages like sage breakfast and spinach and feta chicken links are popular choices. Customers note the exceptional flavor and quality, attributed to the chicken's pastured and non-GMO diet.
Their pork offerings feature cuts like breakfast sausage, pork chops, and nitrate-free smoked bacon, with a natural veggie cure enhancing the flavor. The focus is on producing flavorful, high-quality pork raised without antibiotics, hormones, or steroids.
Customers interested in Redemption Springs' offerings must reserve their products, particularly the bulk options. Orders are typically fulfilled from May through December, providing a window for advance reservation. Full payment is made after the hanging weight is determined and before pickup from the butcher.

We spent 2 nights here on a cross country trip. The host was welcoming and the staff we encountered were polite. The hookup spot by the barn was uneven and not having a sewer hookup was a drawback. But we knew that when we reserved. The animals were fun to watch and photograph, especially Guinevere the goose. She was friendly and came right up to me. Beautiful scenery across the road, and we spent two quiet nights here. Conveniently located near family in Manchester and Gettysburg. We lived in this area for 27 years but were now visiting from Arizona. If we still lived close by I would have loved to try their food products.

We stayed here on the farm in our RV for a few days and loved it. Their eggs, meat, milk, and countless other treats are fresh and delicious. They have a ton of chickens, ducks, turkeys and an adorable sheep named “Aiden” who wanders around and thinks he’s a dog. Buy their fresh eggs and meat and stay there if you have an RV. We did! 😃
We stayed here as we were passing through in our RV the farm is part of Harvest Host. Seth and Stephanie were great host. We truly enjoyed walking through their quaint little county store. We found their story of what they raised on the farm and why very interesting. We would highly recommend stopping in and checking them out. Chuck and Kim
Stayed here in my little RV via Harvest Hosts while visiting Ladew Topiary Gardens and the Maryland Sheep and Fiber Show. Seth and his family were delightful and their working farm is gorgeous. Their efforts to restore the land and preserve heritage breeds of livestock are exemplary. We bought some sausages, waffles and a yogurt drink in the farm store, and they were all delicious. So beautiful and peaceful, I highly recommend shopping in their farm store, or spending a night or two if you have a small self-contained RV and belong to Harvest Hosts.
Seth and his family, who run a working farm, were the most gracious hosts for this spot. The landing for my RV, access to water and electricity, and passage in and out were straightforward. While I spent time commuting to D.C. for business by car and train during the day, upon my return, I was able to enjoy field-view sunsets and quiet nights. The price was reasonable for what was offered and the location enables easy shopping at a few top grocery stores and major hardware stores. The only caveat here is that the public roads approaching the farm have some distinct blind spots, so be careful driving and honk your horn on tight turns. The driveway needs some deep worn areas filled in with stone to make it more level, but otherwise it is very accessible. Also, with so many peaceful and adorable chickens walking about, I couldn't help but smile high. Be sure to get your fill of peace and beauty here!
I am so thankful to have found Redemption Springs Farm. As soon as you enter the farm you see chickens and ducks walking around eating naturally found food. I was greeted by a large sheep who made sure that I petted her before entering the store.😂 The meat is delicious and top quality! The eggs are amazing! It’s family, Christian owned, so you know that what you are purchasing natural, high quality food.
A wonderful family run farm. Great meats and poultry! Fresh eggs too. Great that they are providing rare heritage breeds so that they do not go extinct. So much better than the grocery store. Definitely stop and try their products! They even have dog treats. We stayed as Harvest Host guests and really thankful for the opportunity.
What an awesome stop on our trip east. Seth was very informative about the live stock - sheep, chickens, beef turkeys, ducks, etc. It was an awesome Harvest Host stop and we enjoyed the beef we took with us! Check out their farm store!!

Fantastic Hosts! They meet you and guide you to you camping spot, tell you about the farm & animals. They even provide a packet of information to explain the Heritage Farm & animals. It was very informative. Stayed 2 extra nights. It was a very peaceful place to stay and was fun to see the farm "in action". Would definately stay here again. Purchased items from the store, which were very good!!
