They also carry a variety of other items, such as local organic garlic and onions and heirloom tomatoes that actually taste like how tomatoes used to taste (real) at affordable prices too! Nika ordered a specific type of cut of meat for me that was out of stock the other day and I bought it today. She said I could call ahead for any requests, and they could stock pantry or grocery per my request! It’s amazing to have a small local grocer/butcher in the neighborhood that can cater to your needs. They also have a fridge that has things like soup, chili, and marcona almonds, among other items.

The staff is also super friendly and informative, and always willing to help. I also recommend the thai sausages - never seen or tasted anything in my life and my life hasn't been the same since!

Rain shadow is our go-to spot for high quality meats, pantry items and other cooking supplies where the quality really makes the difference - the chicken smaltz is the best for making incredible roasted chicken. I’d even used to season homemade croutons. The team is friendly and super knowledgeable! A neighborhood staple.

Rain Shadow has constantly great meats and customer service. The quality and selection are great, and we love that they deliver and are always helpful if you have a special request. They also have some great premade things such as a lovely pork and beef ragu. Highly recommend.

The absolute best butcher shop in Seattle. The owner, Russ, is the nicest and most helpful. Highly recommend going to him for any of your meaty needs. Rain shadow's premade stuff is amazing also. Try the in house sausages and the pate should not be missed.

Rain Shadow is the best local butcher - we love all their products, especially their locally sourced rib eyes and their sausages they make in house! Feel lucky to have such a great small business nearby and that we can buy meat from the best local farms around.

Truly amazing product, cut well, and served up with informative service. I love getting a weekly steak here and trying their sausages! FLAVOR BOMB on all fronts...GO! Especially if you are hosting dinner and want to impress your friends :P
