Grazing Days

Farm Overview

Grazing Days is a cherished family-run farm located in St.-André-Avellin, Quebec. With a dedication to producing high-quality, locally-sourced meats, the farm specializes in grass-fed beef, pastured pork, and pasture-raised chicken. This commitment to ethical and sustainable farming is evident in every product they deliver.

Farming Practices

Grazing Days adheres to rigorous standards of regenerative agriculture and humane animal husbandry. Their cattle are 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, ensuring no grain, growth hormones, or antibiotics ever touch the process. Similarly, their pigs roam freely, with the ability to express natural behaviors on pasture, and are fed organic grain alongside cheese whey and non-GMO spent grains. The chickens at Grazing Days also enjoy roaming pastures and are fed certified organic feed, all while being raised without growth hormones or antibiotics.

Product Offerings

Grazing Days offers a variety of products, ranging from Angus beef cuts like tenderloin steaks and burger patties to numerous pastured pork products. Their pork shares include a variety of cuts delivered throughout the year. For those interested in chicken, options range from bulk shares to specific cuts available via subscriptions.

Subscriptions and Deliveries

Emphasizing convenience, Grazing Days provides subscription-based deliveries, directly to homes in the Ottawa-Gatineau-Montreal region. Customers can sign up in the spring for deliveries that run from the fall through June. This system ensures that you enjoy fresh, high-quality farm produce right at your doorstep.

Commitment to Sustainability

Animal welfare and environmental sustainability form the cornerstone of farming practices at Grazing Days. By mimicking natural animal behaviors and focusing on low-stress handling, the farm ensures a positive life cycle for their livestock. Recycling methods, such as using vegetable and cheese wastes in feeds, further highlight their eco-friendly approach.
