Possum Hollow Farms

Took my border collie mix out of curiosity, and actually learned a lot about the breed! I went to one of their open monthly clinics ignorantly thinking you just got to let your dog have fun. Although that is true, there was some good training with William, and I learned so much! I would recommend William to anyone looking to train their Border Collie. As an aside I would recommend getting your dog some sledding booties beforehand. My dog was not used to this activity at this level and rubbed off some of his foot pads.

Erin is awesome! We’ve been going there a year now for herding training. I travel 3 1/2 hrs to take them for herding training. My Border Collies love her and she’s very good at teaching you to be a good handler. Definitely worth the drive!

We had a great time here with our two dogs! We have a mixed breed that has a lot of herding breeds in him and we figured he’d be great as a working dog on a farm. Within the hour of our private session, he was taught some new commands and had a great time! Joe was great with both dogs and took the time to cater to their individual needs. Well worth the money spent (&it’s very affordable!). We’ll be back soon.

I purchased a border collie from possum hollow farms over 15 years ago. She was the best, most loyal, hard working companion that anyone could ever ask for. Not only was she a great worker, she also knew how to turn the "work stitch" off on command. Sadly, she passed on recently, but in all her years, she never once had any major medical issues. She was absolutely perfect in every way! I would highly recommend their services if you are in need of the perfect working class dog. =)

It's worth the 2.5 hour drive for my dogs to attend herding lessons. I enjoy working with William.

Wonderful people to help with started or basic herding with sheep. A must if you have a herding dog. Stock is well dog broke
