Pole Creek Ranch is one of Central Oregon’s hidden gems — tucked right on the edge of Sisters, where it feels like the world slows down just enough for something unforgettable to happen. As a wedding photographer, it’s one of my absolute favorite venues to shoot. The wedding lawn is stunning, with panoramic mountain views that make every ceremony feel cinematic. And the reception space, lovingly called “Elkatraz”? Total showstopper. It’s bold, unique, and a blast to photograph — couples and guests are always talking about it. But beyond the beauty, what really makes this place special is the people — especially Jen. I’ve had the pleasure of working with her, and every time she brings this incredible balance of professionalism and down-to-earth charm. She’s warm, responsive, and truly invested in making sure each experience goes off without a hitch. She’s the kind of person who feels like a friend while absolutely handling business behind the scenes. If you’re looking for a venue that combines jaw-dropping views, flexible spaces, and real-deal hospitality — Pole Creek Ranch is the one. And if you’re lucky enough to work with Jen? Even better.

Our expectations were exceeded the entire weekend! We rented the venue house and ranch house Thursday-Tuesday for our daughter’s Saturday wedding. Friday nights welcome party was joyful and relaxed at the rustic Elkatraz . Saturday the venue house was spacious and perfectly equipped for the whole wedding party to get ready for the afternoon ceremony. Each of the recommended vendors were exceptional. The Sisters Mountains were showing off their beauty and the blue sky was gorgeous. I was concerned because our daughter and her husband didn’t rent a dance floor- but they completely made the right decision… it was amazing dancing on the green grass under the stars. Jen at Pole Creek Ranch was always responsive, professional, super kind, helpful and fun! Highly recommend PCR!!!

We had our wedding at Pole Creek Ranch in July, and it was exactly what we wanted it to be and more. When we were planning the previous year, we were so frustrated by all of the limitations, rules, and extra charges/costs venues come with. When we met with Jen, she completely set us at ease and actually treated us like normal people. We knew immediately that this venue was the best fit for us, and allowed us the freedom to create the day we actually wanted. Not to mention the property is absolutely beautiful!! Throughout the whole year, we only heard great things from our local vendors about how much they love working with Pole Creek. We didn't have any issues, and any questions I had for Jen were met with detail, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm. We rented the main house and the ranchers house for the whole weekend and a few days after to just relax and enjoy. I could write a whole other review of the house itself, it is amazing. I would highly recommend for staying as long as you can, especially when your wedding day is such a blur! The welcome party at Elkatraz was so fun, and offered a different vibe than the wedding day. As for the wedding day, it was perfect to us, the views were stunning, and all of our guests danced the night away under the stars. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, we will be back!!

From start to finish, the team went above and beyond, offering thoughtful guidance and helpful tips that made the entire planning process so much easier. The venue itself is breathtaking — with the Three Sisters mountains as the backdrop, it felt like a dream setting come to life. The beautifully appointed ranch house provided the ideal space for the bridal party to relax and celebrate together, making the whole weekend feel extra special. What sets Pole Creek Ranch apart is not just its beauty, but its intimacy. Having the entire venue to ourselves for 48 hours created an unforgettable, private experience where we could truly soak in every moment with family and friends. Jen and her team were absolutely wonderful — professional, kind, and attentive — ensuring everything ran smoothly so that we could focus on celebrating our kids and the joy of the occasion. As a mom, I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place for such a meaningful day. I wholeheartedly recommend Pole Creek Ranch to anyone who wants a wedding that is not only stunning, but deeply memorable.

All I can say is WOW! We recently had our Daughter's wedding there and everything was just perfect! The staff was so helpful from beginning to end and those views? Amazing! Truly the crew at Pole Creek made this day even more special! I really can't say enough about the beauty of this place! I highly recommend Pole Creek for not just weddings but for any event!

we got married at Pole Creek a few weeks ago and are already planning the next time we can come for a visit! the venue is stunningly beautiful with plenty of space and freedom to make it your own. the real star though is Jen who was such a joy to work with - her warmth and enthusiasm during our initial tour was a major selling point. we're so glad to have this gorgeous place be a part of our lives forever!

We recently celebrated the wedding of my daughter and new son-in-law at beautiful Pole Creek Ranch in Sisters, Oregon. The setting is stunningly beautiful with a giant green meadow and unobstructed views of the Three Sisters Mountain peaks that the area is named for. Pine trees, ponds with Canadian geese and their goslings, green fields with horses grazing and songbirds singing added to the grandeur of the historic ranch. We were so pleased with the comprehensive package which included set up and tear down of chairs and tables all provided with the package. The unique setting of Elkatraz for the reception was absolutely perfect for my daughter’s vision of her special day. It was indeed a wonderful and special day in a magical setting. Dealing with Jen, the facility manager was an outstanding experience. Not only is she totally professional and helpful, we also found her to be a delightful person. We couldn’t be more pleased with Pole Creek Ranch. Thank you again to Jen and her hardworking team!

On May 10th, we rented the Pole Creek Lodge to hold my mom’s celebration of life. This location exceeded all our expectations. The setting is absolutely beautiful and serene, making us feel like we were far from town, and the privacy was much appreciated. The Lodge easily accommodated our large group of family and friends. Some out-of-town relatives stayed in the lodge overnight for the weekend, and we were thoroughly impressed with the amenities provided. The hosts have truly thought of everything one may need while away from home. We hope to have the opportunity to enjoy this space again for a happier event in the future. Thank you to everyone at PCR for making this such a memorable weekend for our family. It was truly meant to be to celebrate here.

Pole Creek's beef is absolutely delicious. We have ordered the steaks multiple times and have a ground beef subscription. It makes the best (smash)burgers, pasta sauce and tacos. Easy to order online, the beef arrives in an insulated box with dry ice so the beef is frozen solid and can go directly into our freezer.
