I took my wife here to this wonderful farm for the first time and it was great! the animals are happy and loving and Everyone who assisted us was very friendly.
Pezza Farm in Johnston is a hidden gem full of charm and friendly faces. The plant selection is great, with vibrant flowers, fresh herbs, and some fun and unique watering cans that stand out. The Rhode Island Parrot Rescue made a visit while we were there, and seeing the colorful birds up close was such a fun surprise. The staff were warm and welcoming, making the whole visit feel relaxed and special. A great stop for garden lovers, families, or anyone looking for something a little different.
What a wonderful farm, great place for the family. Hay rides, picking pumpkins, making your own scarecrow as well as feeding the animals. Just wish they put the injured animals away from public viewing kinda upset the kids to see the hurt goat and cow, But overall we had a great time. Don't miss going into the store for some Cider so delicious.
We usually just come here for pumpkin picking and the corn in the fall but my family decided to give it a visit a couple days ago and I was incredibly impressed with the flower and herb selection they have here! Saylor was really insightful and kind when I asked her questions about how to care for my plant, water it, etc. Will be coming back for more soon!! 🤗
Coolest hayride EVER! Went on a beautiful trail through the woods, past the flower field, fed the cows! And picked out a pumpkin from the field! Highly recommend for littles and their parents
When I was younger my mom would take me to small family owned farm stores. Each one of them have a very unique feeling and style to them and it’s what makes these stores unique. But Pezza Farms is my favorite. I’m sure everyone want to be here on a sunny day but to hear the rain hitting the green house roof and smell all the plants they have in there. I took a lot of photos and attached them to this review. When you do come here and I highly recommend that you do. Take your time while walking through to appreciate all the little things she has made and places around.
Such a great experience, the kids loved it. James was great with being patient with us taking a ton of pictures! LOL! Also the front staff was so welcoming.
I have always gone in October. The shop is very nice. You can find crafts, produce, dairy, meat, herbs, potted plants, etc.. at decent prices. The hayrack ride was great! The cows come up to you and the staff member gives you feed for them. Super friendly cows. Every kid (with paid admission) gets a sugar/pie pumpkin. Well stocked so you definitely get your pick. Animal feed amounts seem to fluctuate, the amount you get seems to depends on the day of the week/amount of people there. The animals take food gently from your hand. There is a children's play area outside the animal area. It's a perfect final destination for young kids. This was a great final stop for a few extra minutes. I would return for the hayrack ride just for the cows. Definitely the highlight of it all!!
My parents, myself and my son came to the farm to catch the hayride to the pumpkin patch. We had a great time. It was a beautiful day and the staff were very nice. I had almost forgotten the ride stopped half way to feed the cows corn! We'll be back next year!
I’ve been going here for over 3 years but my last visit left me wondering if I’ll go back. Older lady attending the farm was not kind to me, although the younger boy working was very helpful and attentive. He truly noticed her attitude towards me and wanted to help but felt helpless. Every other time I’ve been here which has been many over the years I have had no complaints with other staff, but the last time I was left impacted. I love supporting local farms and have traveled all over the country visiting different places because I know how important it is to support our farms and businesses.
