Stopped in and bought 2 filets, took them home and reversed seared them, absolutely the best 2 steaks I have ever cooked myself.

Chicken was Amazing and the staff was Wonderful. Austin was such a help while working with me. If he was not available he got back with me quickly. Did I mention that I threw an order of 100 Chickens on short notice. So yes I Gladly give them 5 ⭐️.

Stopped but today for a few items, 2 smoked inch thick or more pork chops for dinner. Ham loaf for another day and some brats for the weekend. I did buy their strawberry tapioca today and unfortunately for me and my hubby it's the only thing we have ever tried from them That we didn't like.

Nice people, huge selection of meat and their steaks are very good. They also have a huge selection of smoked meat.

Decent selection of made in store meats. Ham loaf very good.

Great small town butcher. Clean as a whistle. Definitely try the smoked pork chops, jerky, and snack sticks.

I'm new to the NW Ohio region (farm towns, not Toledo suburbs). I moved from Columbus and have absolutely no regrets. The food up here is spectacular and so fresh from the farms. Pettisville meat specializes in deli meats, cheeses, preseasoned/ready to cook or grill frozen meats (or plain if you prefer it that way to do yourself), the best type of hotdogs on the planet - homemade hotdogs in casings (very rare to find other than Grandpa's Cheesebarn in Ashland OH) and great meat snack sticks (for charcuterie or jerky). They sell fresh and creamy cheeses. They also have Amish jams/jellies and BBQ sauces. This place is very worth the drive. I'll never buy meat or cheese from a superstore while living up this way ever again. The prices here are good and competitive with mass produce stores and chains. (i.e. only 5-6/lb of cheese or 7-9/lb of deli meat). Highly recommend this place to everyone who lives within 30 minutes and can go there for fresh food. They also do ready to go hot meals if you call and order (dinners or lunches), including meats and homemade specialty salads etc. All around wonderful place!!!

It's the best butcher shop I have found in the area, which includes shops in Archbold and Defiance. Pros: solid selection and flavorful steak cuts, beef jerky, and sausages, as well as local products (canned goods, sauces, rubs and spices, etc). I have found good sirloin for stroganoff and ribeye here, but the New York strips have been so so. Cons: overall, i'm not a fan of their baked goods (too sweet), their premade frozen meals (I have had the mac and cheese and lasagna - both seemed expensive yet cheap tasting), or the deli salads/desserts (some are okay, not great). I have not tried their hot food of the day menu yet.

Best jerky around! My son and his father in law request regular mail delivery of many bags all the way to New Jersey because it is the best they have ever had. I love the potato salad and have to get my fix as often as possible. Definitely worth the trip from Defiance!

This place is my go to deli meat, brats, sausage patties, meat sticks and the most delicious turkey dill dip ever!! I go atleast once a week to get my deli meat!! Very cute shop and super friendly staff!! Oh and the best prices I've seen yet!!

This place is great. They have lots of fresh meats and other deli type items. The hot and ready lunches are amazing.
