We recently worked with Peculiar Pig Catering for a major event supporting the Augusta University Army ROTC program, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. This was my first time planning a large-scale event, and their team was not only incredibly professional but also patient and supportive throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain everything, from menu planning to delivery logistics, and truly made me feel confident and prepared. Let me tell you—it takes a lot of food to feed 79 hungry cadets, but they absolutely delivered. The food was fantastic, the portions were generous, and everything was right on time. I just want to give a large shout out to Peculiar Pig Eats for the absolutely amazing job they did on the catering for my mother's celebration of life service today. I have gotten peculiar pigs pork chops through my weekly community support grocery bag add-on, and let me tell y’all, they are magical. These pork chops pack so much flavor and are so tender. You can taste the difference with this locally harvested meat, and it is worth every penny. A true delight every time; thanks yall!!
Peculiar Pig Farm came to Oak Road Brewery tonight and despite my wife and I getting there a bit late, they still had pulled pork available. We can’t speak for any of the sides as we only bought a 1/2 lb of the pork, but my goodness I think that was the BEST pulled pork I’ve eaten in a while! No sauce required. I hope we see these guys around Summerville more often.
If you ever get an opportunity to attend one of their events..get ready for a mouthful of lip smacking delicious pork. Hands down the sweetest and most flavorful tasting pork I have ever had. After tasting this pork it is hard to go back to pork from the grocery store. You can taste all the love that goes into their farm.
