The only place we buy our meat. Quality second to no one. Steve is the man!!! The homemade sausages are incredible. Highly recommend!!

This meat market has the best homemade sausage. The hot and sweet have great texture and flavor. Wonderful selection of flavored sausage- the Chinese bbq spare ribs is phenomenal! The pork chops are cut to the perfect thickness - all it needed was salt and pepper on the grill and roughly 6 minutes a side and so juicy- not dried at all. Can’t wait to try their sates next time. So worth the trip from Remsenberg! I stock up and even when I freeze the sausage, it is terrific. I wish I lived closier. Owner is really nice and helpful. They answer you questions about cooking their fantastic selection of meats.

The staff was very friendly and cheerful. They helped me select the perfect cut of brisket for my application. The prices were competitive. I was expecting higher since the shop is located in Southampton village, but no. They had the same if not better than most Mom and Pop shops. But let's be honest you can't get quality meat without paying for it. The selection was huge and clean.

Best butcher shop in area. There house made sausage are terrific , don’t shrink when bbqd. D’Artanion chicken & lamb chops are the best anywhere. Steve is a very knowledgeable butcher.

Went out of my way to drive all the way from sag harbor to go to peconix prime meats and they wouldn’t cut me the steaks I asked for even though there were multiple large pieces in the display and told me to come back in an hour or so even though there was only one other customer in the shop. Terrible customer service! I’ve recommended prime meats to so many people over the years that is going to end. Can’t believe I wasted so much of my time trying to support this business.

Peconic meats is the best! Someone posted about terrible service. This only makes me believe they were a terrible customer! Everything I purchased there was superb! The best Pork Chops you can possibly get! Better than Berkshire! Steve is a great guy and always creates amazing roasts for me! He is very creative in all his meats!!

The only bad thing about this place is we don't live closer to you! My husband has been coming here from Huntington to purchase our steaks, sausages, meatloaf and now I try the twice baked potatoes. I'm done, always amazing, always friendly, never disappoints. This is the spot. Thank you!

The owner was so nice. The store reminds me of a Mom and Pops store, he even offered me some of his delicious sausages to try, and they were delicious, I have to go back and buy some. The ground beef that I purchased was fresh and very good.

I have been going here since Steve opened a few years ago. Everything I have purchased from the homemade burgers, Sausages(variety of many flavors) twice baked potatoes and stuffed mushrooms are all delicious. You won’t be disappointed.
