Passel Hills Farm

Have bought several hogs from passel Hill and I must say they charged quite a bit... but I say they could get even more! for the great taste and product of pasture raised pork they sell. You definitely won't be disappointed when dealing with Jeremiah.

We have loved the Blackwater Bundle from Passel Hills this summer! We received a weekly bag of fresh (and delicious!) produce straight from the farm. The variety was awesome. We especially loved the cucumber varieties and tomatoes. The bell pepper selection also had us trying new things! In addition to the produce, the chicken was very high quality and was such a nice feeling to know I had fresh, clean protein to feed my family! Thank you Jeremiah, Maegan and family 😊

This is our first time subscribing to their farm share and we are very pleased. My goal was to support local, family, regenerative, no spray farming AND to eat more seasonal produce. So far? I have eaten many things I am not accustomed to eating! Beets, radishes, Swiss chard, collards and even turnips! Even if I am not overly fond of a certain veggie? I’m going to eat it gladly! Nutrition is my goal, so I highly recommend. Be aware that you will need to clean and process the items yourself. The salads and veggies come quite fresh from the garden! Dirt and all! I have also enjoyed their mild sausage and bone broth. I bought some livers and hearts as well, but I haven’t tried those yet. Eek. I’ve been told they are quite healthy so! Even if I hate them? I will eat them. One nice thing? The farmer will give me tips on preparation which I very much appreciate. I am looking forward to trying additional items as time goes on. MANY THANKS for all of your hard work and sacrifice! I can’t imagine how overwhelming, time consuming and expensive farming must be! Again, many thanks!☺️

Want a Blessing Jeremiah and Megan have been to my family! They provide honest spray free that day picked fresh vegetables to us every Saturday this season as we were part of their weekly produce package. Beautiful abundant and delicious fresh food! We love their free range chicken and the convenience of the broth. I can’t wait to try their sausage! It would be crazy to choose anything from the grocery store if I can get it from Passel Hills Farm! We “know” we are going to get the best “real food” from this farm and what we put into our bodies will determine our health.

We enjoyed fantastic chicken cuts from Passel Hills Farm, and we have also loved their delicious vegetable produce! Although we live in Roanoke, we anticipate continuing to purchase from them. It is a family-owned farm and they grow and harvest tasty meats and veggies. Their products are higher quality, better-looking, and taste superior to what you get at the grocery stores. It is amazing how much better food can taste when it is raised locally.

Passel Hills Farm is a gem for the residents of Southwest Virginia's food security. They offer some of the best tasting pastured chicken and pork I've ever had. This is a family farm and everyone, including the children, are always willing to answer any questions you may have. Try them, you won't be disappointed!

5/5 chicken. We've ordered a variety of cuts two times now and will keep coming back. Not only is it great flavor and texture but packaged clean, easy to throw in the freezer and we're set for a few weeks. We love that it's just around the corner and we can see the chickens running free. Oh and this time we bought ground pork too. Just had some for breakfast. yum!

I didn't know until last week's Farmer's Market in Moneta VA that Passel had baked goods. Now, I can honestly say that of the four Moneta bakers, Passel has the best sourdough. Closest to true sourdough I've had in a long time. I'll be buying for sure.

High quality produce, easy ordering and pickup. I highly recommend using Passel Hills if you are at all concerned about what is going into your food when you purchase from big chain stores. Plus, with the new website and easy ordering, it’s just as fast and easy!

stumbled upon this farm recently- met the farmer and his lovely wife. I bought some of their pasture raised chicken and a pork loin. I was thrilled with the opportunity to get local and extremely humanely raised products and the friendliness of the owners was wonderfully refreshing- i signed up for the CMS box and cant wait for May and all the summer veggies.

We have had the chicken and produce. Everything is fresh and wonderful. EVERY Blackwater Bundle is overflowing with food. You will not find a larger selection of homegrown local food anywhere in my opinion. …

I just got over the flu. The delicious, wholesome chicken bone broth, imo, helped with my healing. I’m glad I didn’t have to cook it myself. Moreover, my wife cooked a few Passel Hills chicken breasts last night; wonderful!

Very tasty meat - we continue to buy both chicken and pork and it's a noticeable difference. If you take meat eating seriously for quality protein intake, I'd highly recommend trying PHF.

We recently moved out of state (very far from the farm). My children have scolded me repeatedly that I need to be feeding them farm chicken! By far a fantastic produce and meat supplier. Great quality and taste!
