Pantera Market is a vibrant market and restaurant that specializes in authentic Mexican cuisine, offering a variety of tacos, tortas, and other traditional dishes. The business also features a butcher counter with a wide selection of meats, including various cuts suitable for tacos and other meals. In addition to food, they provide a grocery section with fresh produce and spices, enhancing the overall shopping and dining experience.
Great corn tortilla tacos. These are juicy and delicious. BUT they don't make any tacos with flour tortillas.
I would never eat here again. I ordered beef soup or beef broth and the carrot vegetables were rotten. The meat seemed to have been frozen for a year. A horrible experience.
Everytime I have eaten there my tacos were made fresh. When you get them to go you get a red and green hot salsa's. Grilled onions and peppers on the side with radish slices and limes. I eat there once a week and I love it every time. The $2 steak tacos are completely worth it. Plus they have every drink imaginable! It is worth the drive from Boise cus you get great food and a authentic experience
I recently visited Pantera Market and was blown away by how authentic the food and atmosphere was! The produce section offered a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, many of which I had never seen before. From exotic tropical fruits to traditional staples, there’s something for everyone. The spice aisle was a treasure trove, with everything from traditional Mexican spices to harder-to-find items like achiote paste and epazote. What truly was the highlight for me was the butcher counter. Not only was the staff incredibly helpful, but they also had an impressive variety of cuts and marinated meats. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can't wait to go back so I can try the restaurant next.
Carneceria with grocery, bakery, and a restaurant. Reviewing the tacos (mostly). Tacos are served with two tortilla, cilantro and onions, limes, and salsas. There are tables for indoor dining. Get plenty of napkins because these tacos are dripping with flavor! Starting off with an amazing Chicharrones taco- the sauce was great. Spicy and delicious. Rivaling Mexico Chiquito and Tacos Colima as some Of the best Chicharrones tacos around. Great Asada, good Carnitas (nice and juicy, the good fatty juice). Adobada was also very really delicious. Its marinade was seasoned well and the consistency was also, not dry, not runny, just right. $1.79 to $3 each, it was a very cheap meal with a lot of flavor. And as Pantera markets are individually owned and operated, I would say this one is better than Pantera #2 in Nampa and better than Gallegos just around the corner.
Pantera market is always on point! Food is delicious.
The food had a flavor of disgust. It was a mix of dirt flavor. The store was really dirty as well. I took a bite and threw the rest away.
We had been searching for a new place to try and came across Pantera Market on Door Dash. For the cost ($16.99 carne asada platter, for example), I expected much more than a cup's worth of beans and rice. I also incorrectly assumed that the steak would at least be pre-cut, or the fat removed, or possibly include some tortillas to roll it all up, grissel and all. The flavor was good (and the hot sauce definitely leaves a nice, tasty sting on the tongue), but the overall presentation and amount you get for the price has caused us to think twice before coming here again.
Bakery inside Pantera has the freshest Conches ever! Super light and fluffy! All of the various cakes, cookies & pastries looked fresh and beautiful!
We went to take our daughter (who is home from the Navy and missing good Mexican food) out for dinner because she was craving a really good Torta. 3 of us got tortas, 2 got Sopes, and I got a Carnitas Quesadilla made with a corn tortilla (which looked like a plate-sized taco). All of us thoroughly enjoyed our food and I am not exaggerating when I say that it was one of the best quesadillas I have ever had. The flavor was amazing and the customer service was genuinely attentive. Every time we come here to eat, the food is always amazing.
