Oostema Wagyu Beef

We absolutely loved our stay in the field at the Oostema Wagyu farmstead. The hosts Lisa and Glen were very friendly and welcoming! The farm is beautiful and well taken care of. We purchased a few pounds of Wagyu beef and look forward to enjoying it. We will be back for a week in July. Thanks for having us.

First time visiting the farm and I was so impressed. I recently visited the Oostema farm and was thoroughly impressed by their excellent selection of beef. From juicy ribeyes to grass-fed ground beef and cuts like short ribs, the quality and variety are top-notch. Lisa, the owner, is so friendly. She personally guided me through the options with warmth and enthusiasm, sharing tips and history of her farm and making me feel like family. A must-visit if you’re nearby – I’ll be back for sure!

I've seen Facebook posts about them for quite sometime I finally made the effort to go to their web site and see where they are located and their hours. We went Saturday and we are so glad we did. A large variety of meat to choose from in small and large packaging. I loved I could buy one New York Steak instead of 6 from from local markets. There are fresh eggs and dairy products from local farms. Lisa was so knowledgeable and helpful. We settled on several items. We tried the bacon and it was excellent. The yogurt and honey mixed together that Lisa suggested was also very good. I highly recommend visiting their on-site store.

Oostema Farmstead beef is the best I've ever tasted. I have grilled several steaks after purchasing a 20-pound box. Every one has been absolutely delicious. I can hardly wait to taste more! Thank you, Glen and Lisa, for providing beef that I can trust to be nutritious and healthy in every way.

We have the Angus ground beef. Good flavor, just by itself. Good packaging, leakproof and works for long-term storage. Fat content is just about right for us on a ketovore diet.

Glen and Lisa were wonderful hosts during our recent stay at Oostema farmstead. The history of Wagyu beef that they shared with my wife and I was very interesting. The marbling of the beef was beautiful and couldn't resist buying a couple of steaks to take a couple home. We will certainly look forward to staying at Oostema farmstead when we're in the area.
