Mosida Market Butcher Block

We recently bought a 1/4 beef that was butchered by Mosida Market. So far, the meat seems to be butchered well, the beef tastes great. My complaint is the way that Mosida Market is currently wrapping their beef. It’s like a double shrink wrap plastic. The wrapping is super thin, and when we were loading it into our freezer, I noticed a lot of the shrink wrapping came with holes already in it. I spent a lot of money on this beef, and I don’t want it ruined by freezer burn because of the way it was packaged. We were assured that the new wrapping system is freezer burn safe, but with holes already forming, I’m not convinced. The plastic also rips anytime you move the frozen meat in your freezer. There is also chunks of plastic in the ground beef once you thaw it because of the way the plastic shrank against the grind before it was frozen. I spent several hours wrapping each piece of meat in butcher paper to help protect it from freezer burn and to keep the shrink wrap from ripping. It’s frustrating to have to do that after paying to have the meat wrapped when it was processed.

Seriously the best beef on the planet. I had their filet minon steak. Out of this world. Really melts in your mouth. I know sounds so cliche - but it is awesome beef. There is a distinct difference in this meat. My dad is not a big steak fan but he loved it. Tender, incredibly flavorful and falls apart. My mom says sirloin is never that tender...she's sort of a connoisseur on steak.

We didn’t know this store in Provo which is so close to our home. They have own farm just other side of the Utah lake. In the shop they have everything including organs. I just bought one liver.

I made Mushroom Swiss burgers with their ground beef. It was very tasty and juicy, did not render water like store bought. I higfhly recommend...

We bought a half of beef. The meat is amazing. So tender and delicious. We share the half beef with our children and their families. They love it, too. We have share some with extended family,also. They think it is very good. We have bought from other companies in the past. Mosida Meats is the best. We will definitely reorder.

I have eaten plenty of steaks. I had the very best steak in my whole life from Mosida Meats. I am not kidding, the very best! I cooked it on my own grill, at my house, a thick ribeye that was incredible! I have had dreams about this steak since I ate it and I am dreaming right now about another. If you are particular and want quality, this is the one to buy.

Ordered ground beef through Mosida Meats, and was very pleased. The ordering process was quick and easy and the meat is delicious. I love supporting local, especially when it's a great price and a great product.

The quality of Mosida Meats is excellent! Their thick cut flavorful steaks, roasts and hamburger can't be matched! Everything is wrapped to perfection so NO freezer burn!

I purchased a ¼ of a cow from Mosida a couple months ago and let me tell you.. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I had been deliberating on buying that much meat for quite some time (overthinker here, so I had a little paralysis by analysis). Buying that much in bulk can be intimidating, but Mosida made the entire process extremely easy and answered all of my many…. Many questions. I have 4 kids under the age of 11, and feeding them on a budget in today’s world can be difficult, however, this purchase will help lessen that burden a bunch this year. Oh, and the meat is by far the best I’ve ever had! The steaks taste considerably better than anything you can buy at a grocery store. If you are thinking of buying some meat in bulk, just do it, you won't be sorry that you did!

My husband and I were beyond impressed with the quality of the ground beef we bought from mosida meats. Our home made hamburgers cant be beat! We now get disappointed whenever we go out for a burger because nothing compares to the tast.

We started with ground beef that was delivered by Wil. He offered to carry it downstairs to the freezer. We returned and bought a New York Primal. Again, Wil was so helpful sharing his ideas on preparation and cooking. Love the meat! Both cuts had amazing flavor!
