Moose River Farm

Visited the farm yesterday and could not have had a better time! The owner is such a pleasure to spend time with and gave us so much education as well as entertainment with her animals. We felt the entire time how much every single animal was loved and appreciated getting to interact with them in a safe way that respected their needs and boundaries. We can't wait for our next trip and I hope Pinto the chicken is ready for another round of snuggles!

We had a bachelorette party visit to the farm this past weekend, and we all loved it! It was everyone’s favorite part of the weekend. The animals are so friendly and the staff are very welcoming and informative. Would highly recommend!

We found this by chance and booked a farm tour and llama trek. Anne was absolutely wonderful. The farm was beautiful and all of the animals are well loved. We especially enjoyed our time with the calf and cappuccino the goose! Trekking the llamas was a first for us and we enjoyed every moment! Follow the directions given because it can be tricky but it is well worth the adventure!

I took my three granddaughters age 10, 12 and 14 on a surprise adventure to Moose River Farm. They loved it and so did I. Anne was so warm and friendly and accommodating to everyone who was there. All the animals are very friendly and lovable. Cappuccino the goose was so cute and we got a big kick out of him! Anne told us all about the animals and also about how she and her husband started at the farm. It was very interesting and informative. The highlight of the day was the trek with the llamas!! Anne knew exactly which llama to put with which person. On our trek , it was our group of four and another group of two people. The walk through the shady trail was very enjoyable and relaxing. We stopped for a photo app and Anne took marvelous pictures of our group and then each individual person. We will treasure these photos forever. Thank you so much Anne for the wonderful time and we will be back in the winter for sure. ** Just a few notes: . Anne gave us terrific directions to find the farm. There is a bathroom there if you need to use it before or after the trek. If you go during buggy season, definitely bring some bug spray. Don’t forget to get a souvenir …tshirts, mugs, books, cute stuffed animals. Great day!!

Anne was a fantastic tour guide. Our 2 year daughter was mesmerized by all the animals and they all were so gentle with her! The whole family felt so welcome here and it was amazing how the animals followed us throughout the farm tour - goats, geese, turkeys, donkeys. The grounds are beautiful and the llama trek was a very unique way to spend time with family and relax.

Our family visited Moose River Farms while on a Christmas getaway at a cabin nearby. This is our second time visiting Anne and her animals. Anne greeted us upon arrival, and gave us a tour of the farm and it's residents. We were able to see what had changed since our summer visit. With the fresh snow, the farm was beautiful and breathtaking. We were then paired with our llamas and began our winter wonderland trek. Along with Anne as our guide, we were accompanied by 2 donkeys (Frankie and Bing), several roaming llamas, and the goats. We had so much fun and Anne was a fantastic guide. It was such a nice, relaxing walk through the forest trails. Our family is already planning a return trip in June. There is not a more unique and fun way to see the ADK. ***We just returned from our 3rd visit in May 2020. Each visit gets better and better. Anne is a great guide, and an excellent ambassador for animals. Our kids learn so much and have memories for a lifetime. Thank you so much Anne.***

This was such a memorable experience! Anne was so friendly and knowledgeable, the animals are so sweet and clearly loved to pieces and the farm is absolutely beautiful! I just visited a few days ago and am already begging family to go back for another visit! PS. Purchase Anne's books. I have just started one and can't put it down!

I can't say enough about how wonderful this experience was! WOW! Anne is great, so personable, and a great host! The farm is absolutely beautiful, the animals are all so happy, clean, content, and amazing! Our group was on a girls trip and contacted Anne for the Llama Trek. This was my highlight and favorite Adirondack activity while on our vacation. I talked about it for the rest of our trip, I could have gone here every day just to walk the Llamas. You can't beat the price, personally, I think Anne can charge more for the amazing tour and hands on experience. This was so much fun! Kids and adults in our family had a blast! Ann was super friendly and encouraging the children to make the most of our visit. She had lots of stories to tell about how the farm came to be and how each animal joined the farm. We will be returning again in the future!

Had a great time doing a llama trek at Moose River Farm. Farm tour was included with the trek as well an introduction to all the animals. Llamas were all well behaved and friendly, easily led on trek thru the woods.

Brought our grandson and it was super. We had the tour of all of the animals. Llamas, horses, donkeys, geese, goats and chickens. The horses and llamas are very friendly. Our grandson had a blast leading the llamas around. It was a informative experience.

Took our two girls, ages 7 and 4, to the farm for the farm tour and llama trek. The girls had a blast meeting all the animals! The farm is beautiful and you can tell Anne truly loves her animals and teaching others. Would recommend!
