Miles Smith Farm

We stayed for 1 night but would have liked to have stayed for an eternity!! It was quiet, peaceful, was surrounding by absolutely beautiful scenery, and was exactly as advertised. We felt so comfortable and at-home, including our dog! We will definitely be back!

Amazing peaceful stay away from the hustle..almost felt like we stepped back in time to simpke stress-free farm life. Wonderfully furnished wiith eveything we needed. And our host met us as we arived. We felt so welcome and safe as we ventured out to stroll the farm and chat with the cows. The room was spacious and clean..just wonderful. The peace is palpable at this property.

Excellent property and hosts! Beautiful views and the room was super comfy. Large, clean room with gorgeous wide plank pine floors and a fireplace. Updated bathroom with everything you need. Loved the property and would definitely go back. Quick ride to the concert venue in Gilford.

Aside from some confusion about the bedroom situation in the Sarah suite (it's one room), the experience was very good. I only met Carole and she is a very congenial host, the cattle are very friendly and the farm is a lovely calming place to be. Slept well, kitchen was well-equipped. All good. It should be 4.8 stars but that's impossible here. So 4 it is because 5/perfect is impossible to achieve.

Miles Smith Farm is an absolute gem. It was a perfect weekend getaway for my wife and I along with our 18 month old daughter. Free to wander around the farm and see the animals, the little one especially loved “helping” to feed the cows! Carole was great in showing us the lay of the land and giving a bit of history about the farm. Great views of the surrounding valley at dusk having dinner on the deck followed by a fire! Very chill things to do in immediate area exploring the Shaker Village and relaxing with a pint at Canterbury Aleworks afterwards. Definitely will be back!

This is a well taken care of farm! The livestock is a bonus and the historic aspects are cool. They have modernized without losing the historic integrity of the site. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique stay and especially to those who love history!

Beautiful, Peaceful Getaway. Carole’s Airbnb is a truly serene retreat. The space has a charming rustic barn-style design that feels both cozy and thoughtfully put together. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Large windows throughout the space let in tons of natural light and fresh mountain air, making it easy to relax and unwind. If you're looking for peace, comfort, and a touch of rustic charm in a mountain setting, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommended!

The nicest people ever, the sweetest animals, nice selection in the store. My family had an amazing time! It’s not easy to find a way to entertain both my kids, who are 7 years apart. This did it! My daughter said it was her best day ever! We will be back!

We've stayed here multiple times and are looking forward to the next. Beautiful place, wonderful hosts. And the highland cattle are amazing.

Great place to stay. Easy check in and check out. The cows were the best part. Gorgeous views. Will hopefully be going back in the Winter.
