Midwestern Meats in Mesa is a top-tier butcher shop with a fantastic selection of fresh, high-quality meats—clearly a cut above local supermarkets. I picked up two 8oz filets, a New York strip, and two pounds of bacon, and every cut was exceptional. The steaks were beautifully marbled, tender, and cooked to perfection with rich flavor throughout. The bacon was thick, smoky, and crisped up just right. Quality meat like this is hard to find. Plus, they offer a first responder and military discount, which is truly admirable and shows their appreciation for those who serve.

High quality meats. I dont buy meat from the groccery stores, I strictly buy it hear. The chicken is juicy & flavorful. When you cook this chicken it doesnt secrete water like the store bought nor is it stringy. I bought some ground pork and beef and made the juciest, delicious meat balls. Great roasts, and pork chops. Oh and the RIBS. BEST RIBS! You can also find oxtails and chicken feet here. They carry kowalski hot dogs which are the best. These new owners have stepped up the selection & quality of everything. Also love the raw milk & farm fresh eggs when they have them. Delicious food all around.

Homemade pot pies, potato salad, fresh farm, non-bioengineered chicken and beef. Oh and don’t forget the dog bones, the ‘welcome in!’ as soon as you open the door and a very courteous staff. This is an every weekend stop for our household. Thank you for providing quality meats and service!

This place has changed & Not for the better. No More Restaurant, Poor Customer Service Rude Young kids working here. I am a VETERAN & I go in for bones for My dogs every other week. Today was the First and LAST Time I go back. They offer a 10% discount to Veterans and it has Never been a problem until Today! I left my truck running & walked in quickly CASH in Hand & They insisted I go out in the 120° HEAT to get My PROOF of Veteran Status!! My total bill was $11.86 Honestly who would claim Veteran Status for what amounts to POCKET CHANGE?! After Two Tours in Desert Storm I said "Never Again" & I am saying that to this place! By the other reviews it looks like I am NOT the Only one. In response to your response I Totally asking for ID on $200 worth of Meat but NOT Ten dollars worth of DOG BONES!!! I even Left the Change so I got NO Discount! I have been a Business OWNER and Licensed Contractor In Mesa since 2001 in My Line of work my Average invoice is over your $200 & if someone wants to say they're a Veteran I & My Employees Honor that and SHAME on Them if their Values Allow Them to do that as well as I told You SHAME on You for Making a Senior Veteran go out in the HEAT to get their ID & PROVE their Veteran Status for "POCKET CHANGE" !! My business doesn't do it & NO other Business I have has asked especially if I have been in Many times.

I love their meat. It is tender, fresh, good taste. Everyone is so helpful and nice. It does cost more but is so good. The butcher cut a special steak for me more thick, lean big enough for 3 people. Did not need individual steaks. We buy there for special days. I recommend this place.

Very helpful and kind staff! I was excited to find a place that had polish kielbasa and let me purchase unsliced bacon. I couldn’t have made my dinner without them! I will definitely be back to try more of their great selection.

This place has the best ribeye steaks I have ever eaten, they were so tender I cut them with a fork. Very nice selection of meats, the people were great. If you want a really good BBQ, you have to come here. You won't be disappointed, guaranteed

From Minnesota and have not found any good butchers until we went to Midwest meats. This is now our second time and between the staff (Jose and partner) educating us on different cuts of their meat along with their background. It was a wonderful experience! The prime ribeyes were the best we have had thus far in Arizona! Well deserved 5 stars. Thank you!

Well where should I start. The first thing that's disappointing is they shut the restaurant down for renovations. Well that's now closed as well as the bakery. We went in to get some meat sticker shock literally. I will not be returning anytime soon for another go at spending 200 dollars. The butcher was cordial and gave good service. We were the only ones in the shop granted it was 8 am. So long story short to all the winter visitors here's what we got no restaurant or bakery and meat prices that are $$$$.

I had the extreme pleasure of Christopher Franks waiting on me, and what an awesome 😎 experience it was! I told Christopher it was my first time at the store and he said no worries we will make this fun! Christopher was very personable and friendly! I told him the store was spotless and the meat 🥩 counter show cases were beautifully presented! He thanked me and we continued conversations! You could tell Not Only Christopher, Jessica, and other person were all so friendly and helpful! Everyone made you feel so Welcome! This was A REAL PLEASANT EXPERIENCE!! Great meats, went from butcher store to butcher store. Found this one $10-20 $ cheaper than the other shop down the road. Had wild game meats and kobe. Asked to have a steak cut 2.5" thick. They quickly got it done and even let me in a pect the cut before packing.
