since moving to the area a few years ago, ive only purchased meat from the grocery store. That said grocery store only had .8lb of cubed chuck available- and i was planning on making beef stew. Fast foward to today. I had my Husband go over to Meloni’s. Ive been interested, but have never been, despite being so close by. As I was making my stew, and you can tell the difference of meat quality. Even before fully cooked, the difference is crazy. When my beef stew was finished, there were certain chunks that were extremely tender and pleasing to bite thru(Meloni’s), and there were some that were slightly drier(if your catching on, its OBVIOUSLY the “grocery storebought” cubes that had much less marbeling compared to Meloni’s-therefore were drier & less desirable. All in all, I recommend Meloni’s 10000% and cannot wait to go back. Amazing quality, great service! Also- Hoagies are 10/10!
10 out of 5 stars for this place! Not only is their food always fresh and service always top notch, the owners are some of the kindest, most caring people you'll ever meet! Their store is always clean, neat, and organized and fully stocked with my favorites (highly recommend this chicken broccoli rabe!) And the prices are more than reasonable for the quality you get! You can't buy food like this at a chain grocery store!
This place has the BEST chicken salad sandwich is South Jersey! They also have prepared meals that you can heat up. I mean real Italian meals that are mouth-watering good. Not to mention the deli and the specialty cheeses, barbeque sauces, etc.. Love this store so much, I have driven 30 minutes just to shop here.

An extensive selection of prepared meals is what originally brought us to Meloni’s. The Sirloin Tips with Mushrooms and Onions is fantastic! We will be steady customers.
I will only buy chicken at Meloni’s. It is the freshest and leanest and it doesn’t look freezer burnt like many big named grocery stores. I have NEVER had an issue and everyone is so friendly
Best butcher shop around. Nice friendly staff very knowledgeable about the diffrent cuts. They were only butcher around township that had picanha roast. Had them butcher it up into steaks for me. Came out to four 1/2lbs steaks and they packed up the trimming for me, which was another 11oz. Im also on a carnivore diet, so only meat eggs butter for me and I had to incorporate liver into my diet and I hate liver. But they have some homemade liver sausage that's is made with pork sausage orange zest and some other seasoning. It's so good now I just eat couple sausage links with eggs as my first meal of the day every other day. Even tricked my kids into eating some with out telling them it was liver till after lol. But great people great service and good quality meat at good prices.
