Absolutely the best place to get egg, beef, and pork. There's a request form if you need certain parts from a cow or pork. Price is reasonable, if not inexpensive. Freshness is top in town. Location is easy to access from both streets and highway. Parking is plenty despite it is located on campus. For holidays, calls in, don't look at google map info. They won't update it . What else? There are plenty of myths and rumors because a meat lab is next to a graveyard. I will let your imagination fly!

We have been getting all kinds of meat and eggs from this place in the past 5 years. Their meat are always the freshest and taste great. They also have lamb selections/pork skin/hock etc. which are hard to find in local groceries. The only thing you need to know is that they open for limited time so you have to plan ahead. Sometimes they don't have what you want.

We buy eggs there. It's best to bring your own recycled egg cartons, but we've never suffered a broken egg when we brought the eggs home in the 30 egg flat. We take the flat back to them next time. The meat is good, high quality and reasonable in price.

Like everyone else says, this is definitely a hidden gem in Champaign. I don't even remember how I found out about it now. I came here last year in February to buy a ribeye roast to make for Valentines Day. They will take special requests, but be warned sometimes it's hard to get them to answer the phone, and they have very limited hours.

Only my second time and I love coming here! Great selection of meats, okay prices, and a well-kept secret. Easily accessed via the Teal, Silver, and Illini buses, but watch the hours!

Sorta a poorly kept secret in the area--good prices, excellent service, with some unstable inventory. I recommend them over other butcher shops because they have the best handling practices due to their teaching school background.

Freshest meat you will ever purchase!

Due to covid, you have to order one to two days ahead online. I’m sure that they are losing tons of sales. I’ll go somewhere else. It was already not very customer friendly before.
