Meacham Urban Farm

I love the idea and mission behind this farm but the prices are really high. 12 dollars for a dozen eggs!? That’s ridiculously high. It’s a beautiful farm and their produce is fresh but it’s hard to navigate to, it’s tucked away in the heart of downtown Tampa and the prices are so high so I will not be going back.

I come to Meacham on the weekends for the freshest produce you can find in Tampa. You eat these veggies and remember what veggies are supposed to taste like. Beautiful space doing important work in our community. Shop local!

Wonderful local urban farm located near the heart of downtown. They have a plethora of in season vegetables and a myriad of other offerings like raw milk, honey, kombucha, sourdough bread, and other locally sourced products. The employees are friendly and informative. If you are looking to get closer to your food source and reduce your consumption of processed foods, this is a great option for reasonable prices.

The BEST place in Tampa for community and food. Their produce is out of this world, but what really sets them apart is the community building events. Their farm-to-table farm dinners are made with so much love, their educational events (I learned how to make sauerkraut) are a blast, and hosting an event here is a magical experience. I hosted my alumni groups holiday part here and they transformed it into a winter wonderland and the food was phenomenal. I don't think I can ever host an event anywhere else. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!!!

Wonderful Urban Farm near downtown Tampa! High quality Local, Seasonal, Organic Produce and Products in Farm Store:) They accept SNAP/ebt and have Volunteering Opportunities on Fridays, Also a Community Compost system! Support the Local Economy and get Great Food as well :)

This was a nice find a friend told us about. A place where they are actually growing food that you can buy. Not a huge farm, but several acres near downtown Tampa. Parking is easy to find right inside the entrance. The food they grow, and sell is right by the parking area. We enjoyed the freedom to enjoy the entire area and look at what was growing, in the fields and in the green houses. This is a good distance from home, but if in the area, I will pop in just to see what is growing and if there is any fresh produce, I want to carry home. There are several refrigerator cases of fresh foods that are not in the photos. Easy to get into. No charge to enter or walk around. This is not a fake farm with photo ops however there were several spots with nice flowers being grown. They are growing this food, and it is clear that they know what they are doing. Really nice-looking plants in the fields and the staff was happy to answer my questions about what I had seen growing, how to cook with it, etc.

I highly recommend visiting if you have never been! This is such an awesome demonstration farm in an urban setting. And they do an amazing job at utilizing all the space they have! The produce is extremely fresh, and the weekend markets are lots of fun. Such a great place for the community to gather and enjoy fresh food and other handcrafted goods.

I have seen multiple videos about this place and finally got out to check it out. Its a cute set up however I found this one to be on the pricier side. I would personally take the time make the trip to Plant City or Brooksville however if you want to make the drive and not worried about cost this is an option.

Fresh local fruits and veggies, meats, cheeses, eggs, and other local products… what else could a girl want? Meacham has it all! I always look forward to my weekly Meacham run, I buy all my produce from meacham now and I can really taste the different in my meals. Can’t recommend enough!!

Meachum is a beacon of light! I love the farmers and their products are legit organic. The even honor snap and the double bucks program, ensuring that even low income families can get organic food, not just the elite! They truly are amazing! Thank you meachum
