My wife and I stopped in to take a look around and ended up leaving with a nice variety ribs, beef sticks, sausage, chicken, and more to try. We were very happy with the selection and the quality of what they had available. Everything looked fresh and well-prepared, and the staff was friendly and helpful without being pushy. I was hoping to find some pork ribs specifically, but even without them this time, there were still plenty of great options to choose from. We’re looking forward to cooking everything up and will definitely be back to see what else they have in stock. After checking out MK Meats, we’re seriously considering ordering a split quarter of beef and a half hog. The selection and quality looked great, and it seems like a smart way to stock up for grilling season and everyday meals.

Great meats great customer service! Worth the short drive from Lincoln

My wife, & I ran across MK Meats almost a decade ago, & have been coming to it ever since. The meat shop is fresh, having no weird smells, lots of types of meat available, with lots of cut types made. The friendliness, courtesy, & affordability of the family owned business is barnone, & one of the best meat processing places around. The Beef, Pork, & Salmon is awesome! Pre-made beef hamburger patties are perfect size, & the fajita meat is great too. We watched them grow from a small operation, to a much bigger one, with no change in the level of quality product, or service they provide which is very pleasing to see. Can't go wrong here, & it's some of the best we've ever had!

Best place in Nebraska. Just ordered half a beef

We live in Lincoln and stopped buying beef from anywhere but here for about three years now. We have done sides of beef at M K, but routinely do orders of hamburger as well. The staff is friendly and helpful and the meat is great. After getting beef from here I have no interest in getting any from a grocery store. The price is competitive and quality is hard to beat. Well worth the short drive from Lincoln and handful of times a year.

We love MK Meats! They've been processing beef for our family for 10 years and I can't say enough about this excellent family run operation. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. Work is done on time and with great professionalism. It's CLEAN! Recently I found a package of ground beef in the freezer that had gotten out of rotation--it had been in the freezer for 3 years. When I thawed it out it was almost perfect. No freezer burn at all. The way they wrap with plastic and paper is top notch.

In and out, it was a quick and easy process.

I've been buying all my bulk freezer meats from Tom at MK meats for decades and there's no where else that I would trust for my family's meat. They are true craftsmen in their trade and they do anything and everything to please. The freshest meat, processed just the way you like it. If you've never tried them you owe it to yourself to experience the true difference between any meat at any conglomerate super market and the good old fashioned butcher shop cuts at MK meats.
