Leonard's Kielbasi Market is a specialty food business that has been operating since 1923, focusing on selling traditional Polish smoked kielbasi and related products. They offer a variety of kielbasi options, including original and flavored smoked varieties, as well as condiments and pantry items. The primary purpose of the website is to facilitate online orders for their products, which are shipped directly to customers.
Stopped by today for the Grand (re) Opening. My Dad and I were wowed by the friendly staff and the great selection! Bought some kielbasa to bring home - and scoped out the awesome selection of other Polish treats. Thank you! We will be back!
I went to check out Leonards Kielbasimarkets Friday $5. Bought 5 ribeye steaks weighing 3.8LBs for $25. Cooked one on the grill next to one Malicaris ribeye I had left. No comparison at all. Goodbye Malicaris hello Leonards. I wanted to get a couple of top round roasts for $5 a lb for making my beef jerky. But, I got there late in the afternoon not knowing that they practically sell everything out. Next week I'll get there earlier. The steak was delicious 😋
Newly renovated store. Large variety of smokes meats, including kielbasa, bacon, steaks, smoked cheese, condiments, pierogies and more.
Authentic Polish neighborhood deli. Pierogis, kielbasa rings, kielbasa burgers, kielbasa sticks…sauerkraut, mustards. Everything you could and would expect in a Polish Deli.
Did you change the kielbasa recipe? I was delighted to think the recipe would continue because it was the best in the valley but disappointed in my purchase today.
I visit friends in the area and this place is always on the list to visit as they have some of the best kielbasa in the Wilkes-barre region. The smoked with extra garlic is the bomb. Get there early during the holidays as the sell out by noon or earlier.
Leonard's Kielbasi is the best smoked kielbasa in North America. Leonard was my uncle, so I am biased. But after years of serving this at holidays and giving it away for gifts, it has proven true. Once you taste Leonard's, nothing else is quite as good. It is worth the trip and you should get extra for gifts. The hours are posted. Expect long lines around Easter and Christmas. Oh and they do take credit cards now.
Excellent service. Very yummy and popular kielbasa. The woman behind the counter is very pleasant and friendly and professional. I'm not sure I'd be with the number of people she has to wait on. Please tip her well. At least $5, in my opinion, for all the hard work. The owner has decided to limit rings to x4 per visit. I respect this as it's a nice person who does this to make sure everyone gets some. I totally understand the meat shortages.I will continue to return here. Thanks
I picked a ring of extra smoked garlic kielbasa andI thought it was good but not quite 5 star good as the skin was too chewy.
I placed an order online in January and after a week receive no confirmation. I called the store and it was told by the woman who answered. She doesn't know anything. She only works there and I had just missed the guy that gets the emails. I waited a second week, still no confirmation. Sent a second email request for an order of 10 smoked kielbasi. Again, no confirmation. Second time called the store got the same result from the woman who answered. She also said she doesn't know why there's no response from the person running the email and that she had somebody in a few weeks ago. All upset for the same reason that they had no idea if their order was taken. I went through this last year but managed a place the order over the phone with two weeks to go from pickup. I'm about to come down on the 25th of March to pick up my order and hope after a two hour drive that my order will be there. I'm lacking confidence that it will and if I don't have an order available this will be the last time I used Leonard's. The simple fact that the person who is taking the orders through the email cannot confirm or respond is very concerning. Update. I received a message on Wednesday, March 20th regarding my order and apologizing for the confusion. If it wasn't for the whole issue about whether or not my order went through and not receiving confirmation until less than a week before I'm supposed to pick it up, this should be five stars. Their meats are excellent. Hopefully I won't go through this trouble next year
