This place is an actual junkyard- I mean for real. I saw a 15 ft tree growing from an 18 wheeler. But my real issue is I was there for maybe 1.5 hrs and I didn’t see a SINGLE adult working. Kids, young kids everywhere working every station which is totally fine but I’m telling you I didn’t see even one adult. They didn’t have an adult supervising the petting zoo area which was necessary considering they had a scared young calf crying out for his mom and almost running out into the parking lot. Literal rusting metal covered this entire place. Just strange idk I wouldn’t go back. I gave two stars because it’s $5 and everything was free outside that and I do appreciate them doing anything for the kids at all. Just not my kind of place I guess.

Took our 2 year old here right when they opened (10am) and was told the hayrides don’t start until 12pm even though there was no advertising of this anywhere. The “animal barnyard” was depressing and there was a junkyard of rusted toys with screws poking out for kids to play on. Complete waste of time and money. Do not recommend.

We are camping here through hipcamp.com. They have water buffalo, pigs, chickens, goats, cows and more that just wander around. They have a fun playground and beautiful areas of farm. They have a campground down by the river for primitive camping. There are lots of bugs so don't forget the bug spray.

My favorite Charleston area farm. We have made it a family tradition to visit the pumpkin patch each year since my son was two. He is now seven. I look forward to the hayride to feed the cows every October. I love those cow noses!

One of the best local farms in the area! Not only do they have great meats and produce, but they also provide education on what's it like to own and operate a farm. They also have a "rolling farm" which is a bus that goes around the county offering their foods to those who can't make it out to their farm. They truly are great people, an incredible family that cares about their community. Definitely go, whether it's to purchase meat and produce, or go for a hayride to their pumpkin patch during the fall, the visit is always worth it!

The entire Legare Farms team does a lot of education in our community about agribusiness, and real farming. From school field trips that I have attended, to tours open to the public, their locally famous pumpkin patch, and even posting updates on social media and via the local news when major storms or events happen at the farm. They also produce a litany of great local food products for our community and we are grateful for the local options!

I’ve never been here before this past weekend, so I can’t tell if this place used to be great and has gone downhill, but it was pretty bad. The “animal barnyard” was sad and depressing. Part of the area looked like a graveyard for old and broken toys. The hayride to feed the cows was the highlight, but would not go back just for that. Overall just sad, rundown, and feel poorly for those animals.

My family and I had lots of fun. Definitely a true rough farm that this loving family is opening to the public . Check out their website, instagram or Facebook for the days they are open.
