All the meats are very good. They are a better quality and taste better than what you get at Publix or Winn Dixie. Check their sales calendar and plan your meals around it. The staff is very friendly.

It's a shame how they treat callers. I really like the quality of meat, I love the price. But don't call, they will put you on hold forever! I bbq for my marina and buy a good quantity of meat when I buy. Don't answer the phone unless you can help me right now. Don't put me on hold and go back to doing your other job. Y'all missed out on a big order AGAIN!

I always come home with more than I went for. Tenderloin bacon wrapped filet mignon is always tender and flavorful. Wide selection of pork and chicken cuts also. Some essential produce and side staples as well as sauces and marinades.

I am so glad to be back close to here. Great place way back. Will look forward to going much more because it's still amazeballs :D

I went to this meat market for the first time and I was blown away. All the meat that I purchase was freshly cut. The whole meat market was extremely clean and organized from the shelves to the meat coolers.I was also able to get some deli meat cut to whatever size how thin or thick I wanted and also got American and some cheddar cheese. So if you're in the market for fresh chicken, goat, beef and pork this is an excellent meat market to go to that is way beyond the regular grocery store.

First time in the store. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I bought steak, brought it home and cooked it. It was excellent! And, very reasonably priced.

I went to college down the street at JU, and in 2009-2011 I bought all my meat from this store. I still miss it and its 2025!

Great family owned shop. The owner, Jergen is a pleasure to talk to and the prices are unbeatable. Do yourself a favor and come by if you’re looking for a new replacement for Publix or any store.

I was very disappointed when I went to this store. I made a point of calling the night before I went because I was driving from the Durbin area all the way up to University Blvd. When I called I asked if I could buy 20 pounds of hamburger that was on the special as I was buying for my daughter and myself. I was told it was no problem. However, when I got there I was told that I could not buy 20 pounds, I could only buy 10. I was very disappointed and will not return if the people who speak for the store when a customer calls are not honored.

Super awesome meets and their steaks are super yummy and they are so friendly. They have nice meet packages as well. That allow you to buy for not an extravagant price. Their bacon is amazing, New York Strip steaks are awesome. The bacon wrapped filets are amazing and don't break the bank. Super awesome and they have a calendar that they have a new special every day. Super awesome and a nice local place to get meats.

I purchased an 8 pound prime rib for our special New Years Eve meal. I've cooked and ate several prime ribs over the years. This was the absolute worse one I've ever had. It was cooked exactly the way we've always cooked tender and delicious prime rib in the past. It was so tough you could hardly cut it, let alone chew it. This was the biggest waste $109.00 I've ever spent. I will not be going back to this meat market.

Our first visit. My first time buying from a meat market. Pretty straight forward. We bought a freezer pack. I think it’s cheaper than a grocery store. Didn’t get to see selection because I went after work near end of day. Service was polite and helpful with some questions about the freezer pack and optional substitutions.

Heard about their freezer packs and asked about them when I walked in. Not sure of the lady behind the counters name but she was very helpful in explaining what they offer and what to substitute based on my family size. Meat quality was way better than expected as well.

5 stars for the meat pkg that I purchased. The pork chops and rib eyes are beautiful! The girl behind the counter I give 1 star. She was very snappy and short, like we were bothering her. Never smiled. She definitely needs some training on customer service. She didn't deter me from coming back.

Love this place. The specials are great and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. You just need to be a little smart when buying in bulk to verify the quality. Freezer packs are the same caliber as any other meat market, but buying individual items, I've never had an issue.
