Laurel Glen Farm

Stopped by the farm to pick our own peaches and it was great! The peaches are delicious and affordable. They also do pick your own bouquet and have so many gorgeous flowers. We went to the farm store as well and picked up some other fresh goodies. They have their own produce, local honey, sauce, meat, cheese and olive oil/vinegar. Will definitely be returning!

This small local farm is a hidden gem because you don’t really see many places around like this in Fairfield County. However there is a small parking lot. The little store they have you have a good variety of veggies which they locally grown right on the grounds to choose from as well as eggs, milk, honey. This is definitely a good location for people in the neighborhood that don’t wanna actually drive to an actual store they can go right to this spot. I was amazed at the old school register that they had in there too (which you don’t really see anymore nowadays) as well as are up to date with paying on a tablet for those that wanna use their credit/debit card. I will definitely be coming back because you’re not only supporting a small business but they have good products also.

If you live in Connecticut, do yourself and family a favor and join a farmshare. We have amazing local produce and these family farms are a treasure. Laurel Glen is one of the best.

Great CSA program. Farm looks super cute. Produce has been top notch so far. Staff is lovely as well. Love that they source and sell products from other farms and small businesses in CT. Edit: they've added a few new options and features like some pick your own fruit and flowers 💐. Happy to see them doing well. Support local.

I was really excited about discovering this farm but sent an email over a wk ago and a follow up email a few days after that bc I didn’t get a response. Makes me wonder if their claim to be transparent and honest about their growing practices is true.

Even though we moved from around the corner to Milford 5 years ago, we continue to have an Extended Season membership every year. It has only been 3 weeks since we picked up our last share for 2023, and boy are we missing it! During the season, I always have beautiful produce in my refrigerator that I love learning about and using. I am now a huge fan of kohlrabi, salad turnips, and greens of any sort, and this year learned about celery root. I used my last celery root on Christmas Day when I cooked it with the potatoes and mashed it all together. What a lovely taste! The veggies from Laurel Glen are always clean and very fresh, and the staff members are so friendly and eager to answer any questions. We are now counting down the months to May when our membership will start again. Supermarket veggies will have to do until then, but they are not the same. We LOVE Laurel Glen Farm!!

We always look forward to the day Laurel Glen Farm opens each spring. The quality of their produce is second to none. Their lettuce always crisp and clean as well as their escarole. But to me, the best is their tomatoes. They plant them in a way that even at end of season, there are a large number still available! The cherry tomatoes are good too! I highly recommend Laurel Glen Farm!

We love the veggies from Laurel Glen Farm! We joined their extended veggie subscription this past year and loved receiving the weekly email describing what would be in our share. The emails always include recipes which come in handy for vegetables we may have never cooked with before but now love!

Laurel Glen is an absolutely wonderful farm. My husband and I were first introduced to them at the Shelton farmers market. After loving their veggies so much we decided we wanted to try and and grow our own. Laurel has a great early spring program where you can purchase seedlings from them and watch them grow at your own home. This is our second year and we are excited and proud of what we are producing. We have also purchased veggies and flowers from Laurel Glen. Highly recommend!!
