Larry's Great Western Meats

Ashley helped me so much when I was buying meat for a dinner with 20 people. Even though I arrived 10 minutes before closing, she helped me figure out how to best stretch my budget and get a nice variety of chicken, ribs, sausages, and steak on sale. I got a discount because it was Tuesday and ended up with plenty of food for less money than I thought I would spend. All the meat was delicious and my guests were so happy. The rubbed baby back ribs especially turned out amazing (4 hours low and slow at 200-250F wrapped in foil indirect heat, then covered in sauce and direct heat to finish). Highly recommend this place. Try to show up earlier in the day for the best selection availability.

My experience with the people and the product has never been anything but absolutely wonderful. My first time making a prime rib the person behind the counter help me buy the right kind of seasoning for it and gave me the instructions on how to make it and it came out 100% perfect. I have gone there numerous times and never had a bad experience!!!! It's worth the mileage that I have to drive to go there.

One of the best places in town to get “the meats”. You can pre-order, order in a store, but every selection is top quality, flavorful, and not skimpy on portion size. You can never go wrong with Larry’s. I’ve been a faithful customer for 20 years. .

Yesterday we had a great experience shopping for meats. Literally everyone in there was so helpful asking if they can help us as we were deciding on what to buy. We never have a bad experience here. The meats are healthier than chain store bought. Yesterday the checkout clerk even offered to walk our groceries to our vehicle as the bag was heavy. We shared where we get our carnivore recipes with him too. He was clerk ID: 1 5/12/25 at 12:28:19 on our receipt.

This is my favorite butcher shop in town. Always greeted with friendly service, it’s very clean, has a great variety of meat, and the prices are good. They carry ribeye cap, which is hard to find but I love it so much! They make their own sausages and their chorizo is some of the best I’ve had. They also offer meat packages with great deals. So glad to have a shop like this nearby!

We were a little hesitant at first, as there are a multitude of 1 star reviews, but there are even more 5 star reviews. Immediately upon walking in, the store is very clean and orderly. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Joey is the one that primarily helped us, but everyone was more than willing to answer any questions we had and help how ever they can. Not once did they try to upsell us anything, and they were very focused on making sure we got exactly what we needed (packaging/portions, cuts, fat %, customized package deals, etc). Not only did they check every box in what we were were looking for in a butcher (and going beyond that), they also have a variety of exotic meats and fresh dog food. We checked out and compared other butchers/meat shops in town, and no one compares to what Larry's has to offer. This is truly a gem worth going to.

They are very friendly, patient, polite and helpful with ALL of your needs. The meat is of good quality and is always fresh. Chris is helpful and is very patient with you.They will even help you take your purchase out to your vehicle.

Seen this place since I went to middle school at Hyde Park but never went in until recently. Awesome place.. great quality meat, super helpful staff. All around great experience. Don't know why I waited so long to come in.

Larry's is a great place and had the chicken quarters i needed when other butcher shops closer to me didn't. Only complaint would be the plastic bag my chicken quarters were placed in were punctured by the chicken bone and leaked in the back of my car. Not sure if stronger bags are available but I was asked if I'd be freezing or preparing today which i said preparing today so next time probably just say freezing so wrapped better and I'll take more precautious when transporting other wise all meat from here is great
