We have purchased meat from Krista and the farm over the past 5 years with no complaints,she is always so amazing and super kind with every interaction. We toured the farm recently and were able to get a glimps of the garden prep and planting process as well as meet all the piggies loving the forest and grass on the hillside, and some amazing wild turkeys. Our family had such a great time while Benji(the sweetest pup ever) lead the mini farm hike. Thank you Krista and Benji for such an great experience.

Krista is so knowledgeable and caring regarding her land, animals, product, and her customers. The pork is amazing, chops and sausage in particular- that’s all I have had so far so I would expect the same from the rest of the many cuts and varieties she offers. Uproot meats has some of the best flavor of meats I’ve ever had. I will definitely be getting more from here. Krista is nice of the nicest people I’ve had the honor of meeting. Highly recommended is an understatement.
Absolutely the best sausage I have ever had in my life, made with love and care the louisiana spicy sausage is my favorite. Bratwurst are amazing and I feel like it gives me so much energy when I eat it. Thank you
Just got our 2nd CSA box from Uproot, and I am blown away with the quality of the their products. The chicken and pork were the best I have ever had. The farm is amazing! Uproots is amazing. We have been doing the large CSA box for several months now and all I can say is- highest quality meat I have ever had in my life by FAR. Krista is so friendly and helpful- the recipes are really useful. Mostly, I am so happy I can support local and ethical meat in my community. The meat grown by Krista and Sonia of Uproot Meats is the most delicious, nutritious pork and chicken I have ever had. As a local food advocate and CSA member for over 17 years, I believe that supporting local family farms is one of the most important influences I can have on my health and the community in which I live. Thanks to Uproot, I am able to feed my family a clean and healthy protein source without supporting factory farms. Thank you Uproot for allowing our local food system to thrive. Krista has been such a pleasure to meet and her meat certainly meets and goes beyond our expectations. The pork chops were very flavorful and tender. The ribs were incredibly good and fell right off the bone when consumed with gusto by our guests. We're having her Italian sausage tonight with sour kraut and potatoes. I have never been disappointed in the 7 or 8 times I have purchased her product. I will return again and again.
