I attended the Winter Solstice celebration today and can't wait to return in the summer! Everyone was so welcoming, and the event itself was quite fun! We gathered in the wood- stove heated barn to make seasonal nature crafts... think Waldorf for the adults and kiddos. Thank you so much!
Attended Day of the Dead celebration at Keewaydin Farms on Saturday, Oct. 16. Fantastic cultural celebration, family friendly, joyous, full of color, cultural icons, food, gardens, rainbow chicken house, pigs using their noses rooting for food, pungent carnations everywhere. Excellant afternoon celebrating ancestry in natural farm setting. Highly recommended!

First time with a csa since college and couldnt be happier. *Never* received subpar fruits/veggies/eggs, everything is always delicious, ripe and did I mention delicious? You receive a pack-list before every pickup and a newsletter that makes you feel like part of a community even though they’re further out from Madison. There’s also ideas for recipes like Marzipan Tomato Ice Cream (tomatoes in ice cream? Whaaaaaat - never would have thought of that). When I had one in college, I also volunteered at it all year so I wish I could do that here! But I rely on bus/bike with some health concerns so I cant make it. They did offer to work with me to figure out a way to get me out there but I didnt want to take advantage of their already generous characters. I dont want to go into specifics but a week when my health came to a head on a pickup day, they took a lot of the stress off my shoulders in figuring out how to still make my pickup. That’s what prompted me to think ‘Do…do farms get reviewed on google?’ But it’s google so of course that’s a thing :p Always kind, tasty and clearly love what they do - I am so glad I went with Keewaydin 🧡 super appreciate them
Very honestly, I don't think it gets much better than Rufus and Joy, the hard work they put in, and the vision shared between them. everything was so dang FRESH! You cannot go wrong with a CSA from this farm!
