Worth driving through the snow for! Was happy the store was open during the current snow storm. It's the only place I like to get eggs. Fun that you get to drive by the chickens that are producing your eggs. Love the self-serve coolers. Thanks for having such easily accessible local options.
Visited Yesterday, and the cashier and her little helpers were very sweet and helpful. I picked up some whole chicken wings and they were absolutely delicious! Maybe some of the best I've ever had
The meat and eggs are fairly priced. The family running the farm are always friendly. Store is always neat and clean and so nice to actually see the chickens that your eggs come from. Shopping for eggs and meats from a local farm just feels good and knowing your meats and eggs are clean and have been handled with love and care.
Our family was traveling to pick up a pup from our breeder and we were so happy to find Keenbell Farm! I did a search for the words organic, grass fed, pasture and beef. Several came up on my search in Google Maps, and after reading several websites, I stopped at this one. I must add that I am a nutritionist and very picky about my food on many different level. Keenbell Farm didn't disappoint. We left very happy with a larger cooler full of meat, at a great price! The cut selections are fantastic! They also have pork, chicken, honey, heirloom corn, soup bones, lard, tons of great items! Eddie was so informative and so friendly. We found our place and will be purchasing weekly! We are regulars now and have been pleased with every purchase for almost 2 years The beef is awesome as well as the eggs The sage sausage is a gold!!! We gladly drive the 45 minutes from our home in Powhatan to pick up grass fed beef, pork, chicken, and eggs from Keenbell Farm! Everything has been delicious and high quality, the beef has a better flavor than anything you'll find at the grocery. The family is pleasant and personable, it's a pleasure to take the beautiful drive and purchase local meats from a wonderful family!
The most amazing place! We drove 45 minutes because it is the only farm that’s meat tastes amazing! Pure fresh farm to table tasting meat. They are also so sweet and such wonderful people. Highly recommend!
