Love to shop local! Kearns is fantastic. The meat is great and the service is outstanding. The owner is so kind! Last year when a family left their credit card there, she tracked me down online to reach them and DELIVERED their card to their home. You just can’t beat the quality of a local, family run business.
I live local in the area and needed a good stake last minute. I called them up after being closed and they stayed open for me. I got a fat juicy porter house. I worked at a steak house and became a steak Expert after a few years. Let me tell yeah best quality purveyor meat I have ever had. I will be going back without a doubt!
I decided to go to Kearn's after looking at their website and seeing prices that seemed pretty reasonable, never having looked at any reviews. We bought steaks, sausages, bacon, ground beef, and a brisket. The 2 filet mignons we bought were cooked that night and I was blown away by the quality. The flavor was so much better than any typical store bought meat. A couple nights later, we made burgers with the ground beef and it's unanimous that the flavor was so much better than any ground beef we'd ever had before. I absolutely can't wait to try the sausages, bacon, and especially the brisket, which will be smoked this coming weekend. Needless to say, I think we will be frequent customers at Kearn's Quality Meats because, well, their meat is top notch quality. Also, they have dogs that greet you, and how can you not like that?!
Just got back from kearns for the first time and we will definitely be back. My daughter loved the dogs Harley and Bella. We opened some of our purchase as soon as we got home and it's amazing cheese and beef sticks can't wait to try the other items we bought
I always stop at their stand in the Crystal Lake farmers market. The owners are so kind and the chicken is always great. Also priced super well compared to other farms in the area!
