I don't leave reviews often, but when I do it's because the place is incredible! These guys are amazing. First, the food is the best quality. Meat, fish, sandwiches, salads, all the best you could ask for. Beyond that, they seem to take genuine pleasure in helping everyone and making sure you get exactly the order you want. These are the type of people that would help walk your groceries out to your car if your hand were full. Give you an extra drink or chips just because you look like you were having 'one of those days'. I love walking in this place. They just don't make em like this anymore! Great work guys!
When in WestHampton Beach you must stop by Justin’s chop shop. My first impression was it was clean and super organized. The fish and the meat looked very fresh. I went for lunch and I was not disappointed. The wedge salad fulfilled all of my taste buds. The air-fried gluten free crusted chicken was so succulent I am looking forward to having that again. The ownerJustin was a joy to speak with. I’m excited to return to try other items. Think Citerella but better.
You want fresh food, meats , seafood, sides, salads? It’s all great and fresh in the middle of Westhampton Beach across from fire department and Lidls!
This place, the food, the service… wow. I’ve never actually been inside a butcher shop before. I always imagined they’d look and smell like something straight out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre — kind of intimidating, kind of unwelcoming. But Justin’s Chop Shop completely shattered that image. The moment I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The place is spotless — seriously, so clean and well-kept that it instantly puts you at ease. You can tell the people who work here take pride in what they do. The atmosphere feels warm, friendly, and genuine. It’s not just a butcher shop — it’s a place where people care about what they’re creating and who they’re serving. I’m writing this on St. Patrick’s Day 2025, and I just have to share my experience. Yesterday, I stopped in and picked up their corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes for the holiday. I was so excited, I couldn’t even wait until today — as soon as I got home, I cooked it up. And… wow. I wasn’t prepared for how emotional it would be. The smell filled my kitchen and hit me right in the heart — it tasted exactly like my grandpa’s. I honestly sat there and cried. My home hasn’t felt like “home” for a long time, and food hasn’t brought me that kind of comfort or nostalgia in years. But this meal did. It was like being back at my grandparents’ table again, surrounded by family and laughter. The flavor, the tenderness, the care in the preparation — it all came through. I ended up eating half of a six-serving tray last night, and I have no regrets. Something tells me tonight won’t be much different. Justin’s Chop Shop doesn’t just sell meat — they sell memories, comfort, and a sense of home. They’ve set a new standard for what a butcher shop should be. If you haven’t been yet, give them a try. You won’t just be buying food — you’ll be experiencing something special. ❤️
The only thing better than the food here, is Justin and his staff. They are always helpful when picking out the BEST STEAKS! We wish there was one in each town :)
Last night I went to Justin’s for the first time. We decided to barbecue for dinner and needed some sides. We came in about 10 minutes before closing and were greeted with a smile. The service was amazing. Justin himself waited on us. He took His time, in describing each of the salads that we were interested in. I purchased the cold orzo, potato, macaroni, and tortellini salads. They also had a salad with corn that I inquired about and was told it was like a Street corn salad. I told him I would like to try it, and he threw it in with the rest of my salads as a kind gesture. I have to say every salad was absolutely delicious, Fresh, Made with top quality ingredients. Living in West Hampton we tend to be limited with deli options as they tend to close earlier so this will definitely be my new go to spot!!
I don't believe this was the best iteration of the shop I saw today. A sandwich should not take 30 minutes to make. I appreciate and understand that a place gets busy, but someone should be saying to the team that more than one person should be making 20 sandwich orders at any given time. I feel a second team member pitching in could help out a lot, and alleviate the pressure caused by the volume of orders. I hope my next experience is a better one, because I did enjoy the food at my previous experience.
Justin's is excellent. All their marinated items are amazing — only topped by their fresh burgers. Best i've ever grilled.
The owner Justin is a TOTAL DOLL! He treated my mother and I with the upmost respect. He has an amazing shop with Pastosa ravioli‘s! We haven’t had those since Uncle Danny’s was around. He also gave us a container of Burrata to try. That was too kind and he didn’t have to do that 🙏🏻 The Burrata is delicious by the way. Everything there is amazing and you can’t go wrong with any product. Best butcher shop around hands down!!
This is hands down the best butcher in the area and they offer the BEST chop meat & burgers I have ever had. Quality & consistency is excellent and the guys behind the counter are friendly experts. Highly recommend the burgers/chop meat, marinated chicken breasts and steaks - and the fresh Hebrew National hot dogs when they have them in stock!
The quality of Justin's meats, prepared foods and sandwiches is unsurpassed. Convenient location and parking is the icing on the cake. No need to go elsewhere for provisions for barbecues or elegant dinners.
Best sandwiches we have ever had. Staff were so friendly especially given the challenges they were facing with the evolving covid situation. I had the vegetarian sandwich and my partner had the island surf. Both were made fresh and …
Took 40 minutes to make sandwich on their menu. Hot sandwich was cold by the time I got it. $15 for a thin slice of chicken cutlet (under cooked) on bread with 3 leafs of lettuce and dressing. The meat is also over priced for the cuts they have. Never again for me.
Super high quality breads and meat’s. The sandwiches are the perfect mid beach day snack. The Dune Road is amazing, the prosciutto is so fresh.
Made my second visit today and left again without buying. Except for the pre packaged foods nothing is marked with a price. Is there not some type of law that price has to be displayed somewhere? It is embarrassing to have to ask the …
My first time in here was last week. Short review: this place brings it! Obviously you judge this place by the meat. I am a huge Cromer's fan, but I have to say this is place gives their Butcher shop a run for it's money and kills it in …
Justin DeMarco owns and manages a terrific fresh meat and prepared food store. He's a smart guy, so knows that adding fare like French bread sandwiches and new prepared offerings keep his customers happy and loyal. His counter staff is always on top of service, as is his friendly and skilled chef.
Justin’s chop shop is the best! I trust no one with meat, but this shop has the freshest and tastiest! They also offer amazing sides to compliment any dish. Love this place and frequent here when I’m on the east coast!
Best made to order burgers. All of their meat and chicken are fresh. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My family will not accept store bought meat anymore- it has to be Justins Chop Shop
The home town butcher with quality cuts of select prime meats at affordable prices. The atmosphere is friendly and helpful with direct personal attention to the questions and needs of the consumer . …
