When we made the decision to switch from commercial cattle to registered, the Jungles bulls are what convinced us to choose Shorthorn. Over the years, we have purchased bulls, open heifers, bred cattle (some sight unseen), semen, and embryos from Jungles. These cattle have proven to be hardy, fertile animals that perform in the pasture or the show pen. They have also proven to be incredibly quiet and good tempered, whether male or female. The performance of the JSF cattle in our herd has convinced my father (a lifelong commercial cattleman) to purchase his first Shorthorn bull (a JSF bred and raised bull) this spring. We have always experienced fantastic hospitality and customer service from everyone at Jungles Shorthorn Farm. If you’re looking for quality cattle backed by quality people, look no further.
I've been able to fit some of of the calves out of Jungle stock. They are mellow and easy to work with. Great hair and easy fleshing. 100% recommend.
