J.R. Organics Farm

We love getting our weekly box of vegetables. Best thing we ever did. It's fun to figure out what to cook and try new recipes. Best of all, you're supporting a small farm and not letting the big AG farms take over.

We love our CSA box from J.R. Organics. It is a great value to receive a variety of produce and everything tastes amazing, you can really taste the difference with their fresh and organic products! If there is an item we know we won't use, we swap out the item for something that we will use. Or if we are traveling/have too much food we cancel the box for the week. We highly recommend, even though there is some extra washing/cleaning work at home, the freshness is definitely worth it!

Seriously delicious fruit and veggies. If you think you don't like lettuce, try JR's. Even a head of iceberg lettuce is so flavorful, crisp and amazing you will never be able to buy it at a typical grocery store again. I get their CSA box. I believe you can also buy their produce at most local farmer's markets, People's Co-op in Ocean Beach, and at Jimbo's.

Their foods are amazing! Well worth a visit! Organic, wholesome, very yummy and SUPER fresh - like, just picked from your own garden fresh! And they clearly don’t pick things too early, like factory farms do, as the taste is AMAAAAAZING!

We always love the produce when we've bought from the farmer's market, plus Mike and the team are just genuinely decent people. Just started receiving the CSA box and it's absolutely beautiful. Couldn't recommend more!

I am so happy we found J. R. Organics. Best strawberries I’ve ever had. Honestly, all of their produce supersedes anything offered at traditional stores. I appreciate that they are dedicated to growing organic and the online system is very easy to learn and use. Everyone has been very helpful and kind. Also, we love that you have an option to swap if something is too ripe.

I asked my husband to write a review, but he forgot to mention some of the things that I LOVE. So, I thought I would fill in the gaps  unlike other CSA’s or some of the stuff at the markets, JR’s produce is all organic, super fresh, and full of flavor. All of our meals taste so much better when we use their produce over the stuff at the health food stores. I love the variety that comes in the box and how nice they are about placing our box on hold when we travel. They also provide lots of great recipes and resources. I highly recommend them. Oh, and they host the best farm tours, with all the strawberries you want!

I've been a member of JR's CSA program for 3 years now and love it! We pick up our produce box at the weekly Farmer's Market and are free to swap out whatever we want for other stuff at the market that day. Excellent service...

If you want the best tasting, safe & best variety then go and get their fruit and veggies (and even flowers)! I've only trusted JR ORGANICS for 23 years and I'm a HUGE fan!
