My daughter wanted to try a hot pot restaurant, so we decide on this place, staff was very nice our server Maria was awesome and very patient for our first visit, and the food was pretty good. I enjoyed the short ribs and steak & several other items. I like that it’s all you can eat. The picture guys was also nice took a beautiful photo of my daughter and I. Life is great always making memories
Great little mom & pop Irish butchershop. They have some imported products from Ireland in the store. On the side by the registers, there is Irish soda bread by the wall. In the back, there are 2 deli counters. 1 you need a number ticket for (grab in front , when walking in), that is for the butcher deli station. The other counter across from the meats section, is the deli for sliced meats, cheeses, various homemade salads & hotdogs. Their prices may be slightly higher than some, but you get what you pay for, which is quality meats & other products. Their frozen fries in the back freezer by the deli are very near to McDonald's fries. The front counter staff when you check out, are always nice & friendly. All in all, its very good local butcher shop, which is already rare to come across.
Meats are pretty good, nothing top tier quality, but all good stuff. Staff on meat side is great. Deli side is different. Deli meats from here don't last long so eat it fast, they are often out of salads but that's ok, the worst is the Deli side staff. They are rude and huff when they have to take care of you, the guy was the worst but haven't seen him in a while, the ladies all get made when it's the last hour of the store being open and you actually want something and they have to unwrap it. Again the guys on the meat side are all helpful and friendly.
The quality of the meats is mirrored by the service of the people that work there. They treat you like family. Best shop I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with.
Good old fashioned butcher shop. Good selection of fresh meats and specialty items that they make. Hot food also to go. They have a little bit of everything here. I was stuck with a crabby lady behind the counter. I got through it.
It was like going into the past when I went into the butcher shop. Everything was so fresh, and I was able to find out that they sell mixed meats for dog food as well. My dog loved it, and we loved the steaks I had bought
Intimate butchers shop. Fresh meat . My only take back was $25 for 1lb of rib-eye that price compared to other butchers I frequent is outrageous. Would shop there again but not ofte
This is my favorite place to get meat. It's fresh and great quality. The employees are wonderful always glad to support a family owned business.
Came in for the first time because all I hear from a buddy is that jack and pats has the best cuts. I bought some ribeye at about 19 bucks a pound and asked for it to be cut for cheesesteaks! The meat quality is very nice 5 of 5, I also got some center cut porkchops and they were also a 5 of 5. When you walk in make sure you grab a ticket as soon as you walk in it is not by the meats and cheese area. This place also has some chips and candy from other countries I bought this orange drink like a soda but like a orange juice super tasty from the Uk. The butchers as helpful and kind.
I was looking for a butcher shop out in the area and came across this place. I went in there right before they closed and got some steaks. I love how it looks like an old school butcher shop inside. My steaks were great, the quality was great. I’ll be coming back
I love this place! Top quality meat!!! 100% ive never been disappointed with any of the protein ive ever bought there, with all that said i went today wanting to buy some out skirt steak assuming the price would be like 5 bucks more than costco come to find out they want almost 22 dollars a pound! What is wrong with you guys? Thats almost double the price of any of your competitors! Dont get me wrong, ill never stop coming bu for tritip and beef ribs, chicken, rib eye at 25 bucks ill pay happily no questions asked! But 22 dollars a pound for outer skirt, you got that one wrong!
89% burger Patty's better then anything you will find frozen at a grocery store
They have the beef. The pork. The chicken. Whole chickens are frozen. They have a lot of chicken breast and chicken in marinades and you can buy them. They also have everything set up in in kabobs. Today I bought some lamb. Two great big lamb shanks and I'll let you know how they do. Most of the employees are extremely happy to work there and some of them act like they're not but they are too. You can tell by what they offer to do for their customers. I didn't take any photos. You didn't really need to see any photos.
Fantastic selection of deli and meats, best steaks on the south side. Grest selection of Irish specialty foods, including Winston's .
Great people. Great service. Fantastic quality of meat. Clean store
Best porter house burgers I have ever had. I will make a specialty trip to Jack and Pat's when I need meat for a BBQ.
If you ever have the chance to go here order the porterhouse patties and hot mild and triple hot Italian sausage with the Tirana rolls and feast for weeks!! The taste of the meats from jack and pats is incredible
Prices for steak and hamburger is about as good as you are going to get! If you compare the quality and taste to their hamburger to say a grocery store that sells pre-wrapped/weighed selections, there is a huge difference in taste and quality! They also carry lots of other odds and ends foods and snacks.
Had a problem with pre-cooked ribs I ordered to make on New Year’s Day cause I was too lazy to make my own. Seeing how great all there food is I couldn’t go wrong but the They weren’t as good as I expected.?I wrote a bad review but now regret it because for last 20 years all ha s been great. I will continue to shop there especially for the polish sausage and sour croutons on the weekends
A great family business that has served the community for generations. Quality old fashioned butcher shop. You'll find everything you need. They also take special orders. And there's there fresh groceries. One floor walk in, handi cap and free parking. A very friendly crew will see to all your needs.
