My go to local butcher. Good quality meat, great selection. The employees are polite and engaging. If your looking for a good specialty store they also have a phenomenal bakery and deli, with some hot meals to go.

Best meat market anywhere! I'd been shopping there since 1985 and bought bundles a couple times a year the best!! I moved away in 2013 and anytime I want a steak it really makes me miss home because the cuts of meat around here would are just awful. If I could find a bourbon marinade even close to one as good as yall it be like going home! P.S the deli is amazing also!!

What a great butcher! Nice fat cap on bone in ribeye, just excellent! Store has great selection, some hard to find items as well, so we always swing by if we cant find it anywhere else. I'll cry if this place ever closes.

A mom and pop food store with much less preservatives, a healthy variety of brands, and very high quality meats. Prices are a bit higher than a commercial superstore but the sales are fair and the staff are helpful and nice.

Been buying meat at Inbodens since the 1980s. The last two experiences I had were bad. Last Christmas I bought a large rump roast and the meat was sort of pink and didn’t taste like the roasts I have gotten there in the past. That roast was just plain bad a cheap grade of beef probably select. Very disappointed but didn’t want to make an issue out of it because usually they are very good. Recently about two weeks ago I bought what was supposed to be 85% lean ground chuck and when I cooked those they almost started a grease fire in my Weber. I cooked two today in an electric skillet and I had to soak the grease up 4 times with two 6 ounce hamburgers. I worked at the country club and I’ve probably cooked several thousand burgers (ground chuck) since the mid 1980s from Inbodens and those were great burgers The meat was red had fat at the right percent for decades. This simply is not the same hamburger I have bought and cooked at the club or at home on the grill. Way too much fat and once again a pink meat looked nothing at all like the burgers they have been known for this is a lower grade of beef. I would like to stock up sometime on ground chuck but one more occurrence on that pink meat with tons of fat and that will be my last try. Same with the rump roasts that $60 roast ruined my holiday meal. I should have taken that rump roast back it was tasteless. I’d really like to shop local and support a small business here in DeKalb but if there is no improvement I will go to Reams it’s only about 12 miles and their meat is excellent every time. I hope this situation there improves I will most likely buy the ground sirloin that used to be so lean it wasn’t good for burgers, that fat content looked much better but looked like 85% not 93%. One other negative evaluation and that’s the top sirloin steaks. A few years ago I bought one looked and tasted like Walmart steaks and they were a premium price. This steak was tough no taste haven’t bought once since. It was great aged beef from Chicago and the top sirloins were so good it was more tender than prime rib absolutely delicious. I’ll guarantee you I’ve eaten more top sirloins from this store than anyone. We had a popular salad a steak salad we would cook the top sirloin the way they wanted 90% were MR and of course I always tasted a slice or two out of the center of those steaks and they were incredible. Those days are gone it seems maybe it’s the suppliers it is not aged like it was and way too expensive for what you get. Was never like that. Hope during these challenging times there will be some improvements there. Right now the pistachio delight is excellent the meats not so good I’m only reviewing the top sirloins, ground chuck, and rump roasts. The brats are still very good. Anyway constructive criticism it’s been a great store for a long time.

I really hate to give a bad review but I have to be honest. The team in the fried deli department/ the team working the cheese/pasta area, needs some customer service skills. The lady was rude to my fiancé as we inquired about the fried items. We needed our order redone due to hair on our food. The cashier even went back and forth with my partner about hair on food. Very unpleasant experience. You guys the only good fresch butcher in town. Please update the elderly women on proper customer service for ALL guests. Not just the ones that look like them!!!

A great place, has everything you need. The meat selection is spectacular and priced properly. Super little wine section too. Good deli area with salads. The gyro burgers, carne picada, stuffed chicken s and savory tritip are hot. Some of the best brats and Italian sausage around. Take the trip.

I go there all the time for meat and cheese and this is the second time I've got moldy cheese The mold is right on the top edge of the cheese so they had to see it when they were slicing it. Time to find a new place won't pay those kind of prices if they're not going to make sure their products are superior

A great butcher shop, deli, and gourmet grocery with beer and wine. Great meats and lots of side dishes and general grocery items. The deli dinners can sell out quickly of Thursday nights. Very clean and orderly store with lots of unique offerings.

I love this place!! Picked up amazing food trays for Christmas and needed some other items as well for appetizer recipes. A very nice man from behind the counter came out and walked around with me to find everything I needed!! The other female employee took the trays to the front checkout for me - they could not have been nicer and more accommodating!! We loved the smoked salmon tray and the shrimp cocktail tray - will order again!!

I love Inbodens! The employees are always very nice and helpful. They have great prices on quality meats, cheeses, and sides. The olive bar is one of the many perks. It even has fresh mozzarella balls available. I highly recommend shopping here.
