Fresh quality meats. The first time I was at Hanover Market House on Chestnut St, Hanover, thats when I discovered them, the Market House is open Saturday's 6:00 AM TO 1:00 PM, get there early.
The greatest beef jerkey in the world came from Byerly Brothers Meats in Lewisburg, PA. When they closed down a few years ago, I was lost. I’m happy to report that this is the place!!!! Their beef jerky is top tier. Please never change the recipe or process. Way to go, it rocks.
I am a 3rd Generation Meat buyer for a Reason. Best Butcher I have ever purchased from, hands down. Fresh Sausage is the best I have ever found. I have tried to find an alternative but, keep coming back. Quality Products from good people. What more can you ever ask for !!!
Awesome butcher shop! We stop by all the time to pick up different meats but the ham salad or spicy cheese meat sticks are my favorite! Will also get larger orders ready for pickup if you are having a bigger get together. Can't recommend this place enough!
Sandy is Awesome, helps you with anything you need We get our meats from there weekly, haven't bought meat from a super market in 15 years. Can't find a fresher meat Sausage is fantastic, as well as everything else they sell Prices reasonable, and always great service.
We have used Hughes Meats to custom-butcher our pastured hogs for the past several years. All of our customers comment on how helpful the staff is in helping them select the best cuts for their family. They do an excellent job in curing the meats and packaging the cuts. The sausages are excellent and very high quality.
They have the best bacon around I love coming here, you will not be disappointed. They have butchered several animals for me and I have yet to have a single complaint. Thank you for your great service and incredible care for the food and meat we get from you.
Nice local meat market with a good display of local beef and pork. Some ready to eat fried chicken also, some produce available and desserts.
Best meat around. Clean facility, respectful and polite staff, and very well priced. Don't go anywhere else! This is the place to go. The owner is the best person around and will treat you right.
I have been buying my meat's from Hughes for over 20 years and they are 2nd to none. I have never been left down by the quality. Very good people.

I've been dealing with Sandy Hughes for over 30 years and her husband and her have the best meats in the area.
We now live in N.C. but we come back to PA. Once a year. I alway stop and get their sweet bologna. Great people.
The staff is very friendly and the food is so fresh and tastes awesome! It is worth going out of the way to stop in.
