Our 4K class went here for a field trip, and it was absolutely wonderful! The owners were so kind and welcoming. We started our visit with an educational lesson in the barn, followed by a chance for each child to hold baby quail chicks — they were adorable! Next, we enjoyed a hayride around the cornfield with fun picture puzzles along the way that kept the kids engaged and excited. Afterward, we visited the donkeys and other birds, which everyone loved, and finished our morning in the unique and super fun play area. Each child even got to take home a big pumpkin! It was such a fun, memorable morning — the perfect field trip spot for 4- and 5-year-olds!
Animals were awesome. Pumpkins were not great. Would not go here looking to buy pumpkins, but great place for kids and not crowded.
Very cool farm, I've very glad they are allowing field trips this year. Our family will return after they open to the public again
Really loved our visit here! Great for school feild trips the farmer in charge was so polite and helpful! The kids had a blast! Highly recommend for a fun farm visit!
This farm is a hidden gem! The prices are reasonable throughout, and it is truly a family run family fun place. The corn maze was well done and educational even, with 2 lookout points and multiple checkpoints. The pumpkins and produce were quite reasonable and the petting area was incredible. Several mini donkeys come to greet you, along with turkeys, goats, geese, sheep, chickens and baby chicks! My daughter even got to hold one! Best fall fun time we've had yet!
This is Wisconsin hospitality at its finest. Cute, well organized, educational pumpkin farm/homestead. I attended with my son's elementary school. The wife is a kindergarten teacher so there are all sorts of things to keep it interesting. The husband was a super-friendly gracious host.
love to go right in with the donkeys and pet them. holding chicks is fun for everyone. kids love the hayride. word game while on the hayride! corn maze a favorite with teens . overall great experience. people very helpful and friendly. A lot to do for the money.
We were looking forward to picking a few pumpkins and going through the corn maze. There wasn’t a single pumpkin left on the vine that wasn’t rotten. The corn maze would excite a child under 6 maybe, definitely not enjoyable for older folks. Left about ten minutes after arriving.
Love Homestead Animal Farm! They do an amazing job on the corn maze, it’s so interactive and the kids love it as well as adults! We’ve been going for the past 7 years and can’t wait to see what they come up with for 2018. They are extremely well priced for all the activities they offer. Plus they have a barn full of goodies to purchase like cutting boards, honey, maple syrup, gourds, pumpkins, feathers, snacks, fresh apples, eggs, etc!
Have gone every year for the past five years, always a fun time petting the animals. This year the alpaca burped in my face.
