Thanks to Google Maps, we discovered this gem on our road trip across the U.S. We bought a couple of steaks that we grilled at our camp the next night. Ohhhh, the tenderness and flavor were like no other! If only we lived closer or could order from a website. Highly recommend. Really enjoyed the small town feel even though it was located within a mile of a busy area. The owners were super helpful as well. We even bought a flavorful bone for our dog.
Meat sticks are great and decently priced, have a good variety. Have a nice variety of meats and cuts. Dried beef is delicious. Breakfast sausages are priced reasonably as well. Only decent meat locker in Mankato so definitely worth a visit!
Great little shop with super friendly staff. They suggested a lot of good things along with giving me a sample of one I was on the fence about. My dog also loves their pig ears.
Great place to shop with friendly staff! Be sure you know their hours before you stop in, especially on the weekend. I've seen a lot of disappointed folks turn around in their parking lot because they didn't check that Hilltop was open.
The best around. People are helpful and nice. Whether it is smoked pork chops, hamburger, meat sticks, or summer sausage it has always been fantastic. Even my dog loves thier smoked bones. Drop by and grab a couple things, you won't be disappointed.
Wow! Nice meat, good selection of various cuts and varieties, they even have Braunschweiger! I felt welcome as soon as I walked in. They even have local eggs.
