We often shop here for fresh veg, but recently we had a family member that needed to have goat in their diet and so we purchased about 8lbs of bone out cubed goat leg meat and folks, absolutely out of this world. I honestly thought they gave us beef, because the scent of the meat being lightly seared on the pan literally brought folks from all parts of our house, and my neighbor, all with the same question "What is that!? It smells delicious!". Many shocked to hear it was Goat others shocked that goat meat could be that mouth watering. In any case, I do believe Hemlock will have something for everybody, be they vegan veggies, ravenous carnivores or a little of both. They keep it simple in the market so first come first serve, if you show up late some choice items, cuts etc may already be gone.

Been going here for years, there is nothing fresher. Consider getting a CSA if you love nearby. They also carry Chisholm cheeses, local beers, and local vegetables. It’s worth the premium in cost. Support local!

The Farm is very beautiful !! The market was lacking. Not much fresh meat on display, nor customers. Fresh whole chickens range in price from $17 to $28 dollars or so. The novelty of picking out your live turkey is nice.

First time visiting and buying. At first glance and smell, I can say the meat and produce is very fresh. My only reservation is the high price for such a small piece or cut of meat.

Google

$16 for chicken stock, most butchers charge $10-$12 for the same product. Stop in if you want to make hundred dollar chicken soup for dinner.

Hemlock Hill Farm βΈ» Rating: ββ˜†β˜†β˜†β˜† (One Star) To the Management of Hemlock Hill Farm, What occurred during my recent transaction with your establishment can only be described as blatant fraud and deliberate deception. I paid in full for a specified quantity of meat, only to receive significantly less than what was promised. This is not a mistake β€” it is a clear act of dishonesty and theft, and it will not be tolerated. Your conduct shows a complete lack of integrity and respect for your customers. This kind of unethical behavior is unacceptable, and it strips your business of any credibility. I will be pursuing this matter through the proper legal and consumer protection channels, and I strongly warn others to avoid dealing with you until this serious misconduct is addressed and corrected.

I have been shopping for all my fresh meats and poultry for 5+ years at Hemlock Hill and am very pleased. I have encouraged friends and family to shop here. Always fresh and the taste is exceptional. The quality is well worth the cost. Great job, keep it up and thank you.
