My cow was processed here and this place is fantastic! They answered all my questions about processing and what cuts were what based on what I know from the grocery store. Super helpful and friendly! Great meat shop. I’ve only had their hamburger and numerous varieties of sausage and everything has been excellent. Probably the best sausage I’ve ever had.

All the Guys at Heber Valley Meat are Super Cool & awesome! They are always extremely Professional, helpful and well versed in their Meat cuts and recommendations. By far the best place to go to buy Local Beef/Lamb/Sausage/Bacon and everything else they have to offer.

Took 2 cow elk, approx. 400 lbs. of deboned meat to these guys and ended up getting maybe 100 lbs. if we are lucky. I would never recommend this shop...probably the most underhanded butcher shop we have ever used. Either helped themselves to our meat or sold it. Wished we would have read the reviews before we took our elk in.

Brad and his team provided such an enriching experience! This was our first experience raising lambs with the intent of harvesting them for our family. So these lambs were raised as pets with love and care. Slaughter was quick and efficient with no suffering or trauma. Brad’s butchering was to our specifications (beautiful cuts) and vacuum packed, labeled for each lamb. My husband says he’s never tasted better lamb. Thank you Brad and Team for making this such a positive experience!

I have bought meat from these guys numerous times. The first time everything was great. The Pichana was tender as was the filet and ribeye. Naturally we ordered some more but unfortunately the Pichana was really chewy as was the tri-tip. We chalked it up to just being not amazing and thought the next time would be better. It wasn’t any better this next time. We like supporting local as we drive over an hour each way to do so. Our bill is always several hundred of dollars but we will not be back again. Lots of other places to support with hopefully better attention to quality. As a business owner myself I can attest to how important it is to have a consistent product.

We got the steak box and cooked the fillets last night. One of them was somewhat edible but not tasty and 2 were mostly tough fat with no good meat so we tossed them. The fourth is in the fridge- not sure what that one will taste like. We hope the rest of the box isn’t as disappointing.

Excellent fresh meat! It’s expensive but it’s the best quality. We got bacon jalapeño bratwursts which weren’t that spicy at all but it was very flavorful. Some of the best bratwursts we’ve ever had. We tried Denver steaks which we’ve never had and they were delicious and very tender. We of course had to get a couple of rib eye steaks which are always fantastic. Since we were first time customers they gave us a package of bacon for free. We were impressed with everything. The employees were very nice and helpful.

This is hands down the best butcher shop in Wasatch and Summit counties. The team is always incredibly friendly and helpful, and the quality of the meat is second to none. They also have an amazing selection of artisan sausages that you won’t find anywhere else. One of the things we appreciate most is that they source their beef locally—something that really matters to people like me and my husband who like to know where our food comes from.

My guests rave about the taste and quality of their products. The team also takes time to ask questions and listens to what I am looking for, and custom cut everything to what I want or need.
