I must say that my experiences @ Harlan Farms have been top notch & the memories are fond & many. The bass lake offers some of the best Florida bass fishing this side of the Mississippi River. If that isn’t enough, the crappie are just as good if not better. The wildlife scenery is beautiful & abundant. Bison & Texas longhorns roam the pastures while whitetail & axis deer play hide & seek in the timber. The accommodations are perfect. The main house makes any occupant feel @ home on the range while the barndominium could be a loft in a big city of your choosing. I decided to give Harlan Farms a visit because we share a name. You should give it a visit because if you don’t, you are missing out.
My son and I had the best time hunting at Harlan Farms. Great accommodations, beautiful property, feels remote but so close to DFW. Bryan and Harlan Farms were exceptional hosts; we'll never forget our time spent there and look forward to going back.
I've had the pleasure of experiencing Harlan Farms in all seasons and for a number of outdoor pursuits. From opening day of bow hunting to late season rifle for deer. A few very successful duck hunts (the flooded timberlands are chock full of wood ducks). Lastly, many Spring, Summer, and Fall bass fishing mornings and evenings. It's truly a slice of outdoor heaven, conveniently located in driving distance from DFW. As soon as you enter the gates, driving by herds of bison and Texas Longhorns, you're transported into the most beautifully maintained natural habitat for all the wildlife that flourishes there. Also the main house and barn-dominium are second to none to kick back after a fun day with friends and family. Many a good evening I've spent frying freshly caught fish or grilling freshly harvested venison while watching a game with friends. Can't recommend this place enough!
I did a hunt a Harlan Farms. The hunting grounds are great and the accommodations were amazing. I was able to get a nice buck during my hunt. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a place to hunt.
I've never been here. But it keeps popping up. Maybe I pulled over to use my phone in parking lot. But Google thinks I was there. So do not pay any attention to 1 star rating they may be ok
