Best meat place around! Been going here for years. Top quality meats, ground beef, and sausages are the best I've tried around. Sausages and ground beef are lean and not greasy. My kids know the difference when we make burgers or tacos and will only eat if the meats are from Happy Steer.

All kinds of health code violations are happening here. These guys don't use gloves for anything. They will cut meat, handle a cash transaction then go right back to the meat without washing their hands

Great run family business! Extremely high quality meats, clean environment, & super friendly…my kids can even tell the difference if I run out of chicken and have to get it else where because it’s a Sunday and. they are closed. I try my best NEVER to run out…this is the best butcher around!!!

I Purchased a meat package that cost 155 dollars. When I got home I realized that the two and a half pound chuck steak was missing. Happy steer says that they check the items off as they put the order in a box. The fact that they checked it off and it wasn't in the box can only mean that they stole my merchandise. They were not willing to make restitution. They said that this kind of mistake almost never happens. That sounds like an admission of guilt to me! If you do business with Happy steer make sure you got everything before you leave . .

Jay, Rich & Pat are great people. They stock the very best cuts of meat, including Bell & Evans chickens. If your not sure about something, ask. They will recommend the right cut of meat for your party and even give you detailed direction on how to make it perfect. Please don't compare their beef to the supermarkets. At the big store you get choice (cheap) cuts and here they sell prime (the best). You get what you pay for and I have never received a poor cut of steak from this neighborhood jem!

Thank you Jay for a 3rd excellent holiday dinner, two Christmases and one Thanksgiving - Porterhouse, filets and lamb chops were excellent each time. Excellent prepared BBQ ribs, sausage rings and thin cut chicken cutlets.

What a great little secret place to shop when you don't want to do lines and major shopping! Their meats are "a cut above" and delicious. Friendly and so accommodating. Probably cheaper than a grocery store and getting only exactly what you need which saves a fortune over time.

The meat is very good..the only reason is I gave them 4 stars ..is they make there burgers to thin ! There was no burgers Made in case so I got the frozen kind ..and there chop meat is very good but they need to make there burgers thicker ..I’m going to a butcher ..I want big thick burgers! I picked up fresh sausage and it was amazing !

Come here for years like all the reviews say clean friendly great recommendations the best filet mignon wrapped in their own bacon which you probably won't eat any other bacon again are Italian sausages especially the ring unbelievable the club Stakes which came as a recommendation again fabulous the chicken Bell & Evans and it is true you get what you pay for if you don't want chicken and meet the taste like sawdust or is completely tasteless these guys I've been in and out of the store for 20 years since it least 1998 and I've never been disappointed check it out and enjoy

Disappointing. Very little selection mid day Saturday. Cases mostly empty. Only the highest priced steaks out. Back to cow palace I suppose. .

Great family run biz. Awesome meats- ask for anything- they keep stuff in the back too. They get real steer, not cow meat. Great customer service too
